oh man. arsenal players were toying with liverpool's midfielders! even alonso looks pretty lost (consider that he didnt play against chelsea on wed).
milan baros could only resort to shirt-pulling and handball tactic, given he is the lone striker against 4 in-form defenders.
after so many games liao, liverpool still choose to ignore pires as the voodo man against liverpool. he is like chelsea's joe cole.
to hang on to the possibility of finishing off with fourth placing, they need at least 3 goals in second half.

Smicer hardly did anything.
Alonso was also kinda quiet.

actually, the entire team was kinda screwed up today, for some reasons.
even the being-everywhere carragher wasnt hardly seen in the game and slipped while reyes scored arsenal second goal.
hyypia was the culprit to the first disallowed goal.
the commentator was puzzled himself, saying that the mystery goes on as liverpool's domestic performance is nowhere align to their european form. -

for all who slam Cisse, i would think that it was the run and the shot in the 10th second of the 2nd half that caused the LFC domination.. that move set the mood and suddenly, LFC was attacking like mad... -

reason why liverpool can do well in ucl and not premiership.cuz rafael benitez style of playing is slow tempo and more defensive minded.whereas in premeirship very high tempo as illustrated by arsenal today,liverpool just cannot cope.whereas in ucl onli a few teams play at high speed eg. barcelona real madrid and arsenal onli this 3 i can think of.tats y benitez and liverpool style is more suited for the european game and dun forget the english game is very physical.

Precisely my point is,those high tempo teams styles are not suited for the european game.look at the teams who knock them out,chelsea,bayern and juventus.notice their playing style?efficient and effective but neva pleasing and sumtimes boring.now its no longer about attacking,teams muz defend and liverpool do tat really well in europe.tok about attack barcelona has the best but they got knocked out becuz they can't defend.
