Why does benitez persist in playing 4-5-1 especially in the premiership?in ucl i can understand,cuz they haf to defend more and be more conservative but in the premiership?those lowly teams defence surely can't cope with that much firepower liverpool has.baros can't make it on his own as proven time after time why don't benitez see's this point.imagine the speed or baros and cisse with people like gerrard and alonso who are so good at passing.even gerrard houllier plays with 2 strikers in the form of heskey and owen!and he is known to be a defensive person.

I have agreed that Ah Ben not really adventurous with the 4-4-2 formation that can reap rewards.
Liverpool does not have a striker that can stand on its own.
For EPL, once the striker is MARKED, your game is OVER. -
i admit tat 4-5-1 works well for valencia.but tats becuz mista last season was a 25 goal striker.wad about baros?euro golden boot,looks like he can only score for his country.lol.and aimar is a real playmaker,whereas garcia is not.but den again spanish league the defence really sucks la so maybe tats y they score alot.

well, we just gave Everton the ticket to Champion's League next season but to be fair... they deserves it more than us

UEFA President have just said that liverpool should be given a chance to defend its title next year if they win the UCL.

For the UCL, a passing game is better than direct football. The spark of genius to open up the game.
But for the EPL, a passing game will be easily overcomed by physical tackling. That cannot do. You either need like Arsenal, quick passing and off-the-ball running or have someone run into their defence, like what Robben does.
I whine everytime Liverpool keep passing the ball and then kanna intercepted. Don't they see that a passing game is not suitable in the EPL? The route 1 method is more suitable, one, less time needed, two, hope someone can pick up the loose ball and do something about it.
Or, do the wing method, have someone keep running down the wings and cross. I saw Nunez doing it against Tottenham, he was pretty good at sending the crosses. That's what Liverpool shall do more.....
Next season, see how lah.....
I still have confidence Liverpool will win the UCL and give UEFA a headache. Because the stars said so. When Greece won the European Championship, in a way, it's also because of the stars, because every 24 years, the team to win the first match will be in the final against the same opponent and win again. -

Next season L'pool without UCL ( If we lose to Milan ! ) , will he stay ?

Liverpool can only win when they are the underdog.
When compared to AC Milan man to man, Liverpool is FAR AWAY.
AC Milan should be able to nick this year Cup.
Only in losing the CL Final, Liverpool "keng"ers will show their tails and leave the club.
Only then can Liverpool play from square 1 and not from any past glory that is more than 10 years ago. -

AC has just lost to Juventus last weekend .
That says everything . AC is just another team in Europe !
We have everything to play for .
Plus the incentives of defending next UCL Title . That's an extra motivation .
Remember ? The lads said they'll win for ALONSO , who is suspended ? They did it !

well history points to their victory,and milan looked really ordinary against psv.. so who noes?but the key for both teams is not to concede the goal first becuz i haf a feelling it'll be 1-0 game.good luck to both teams although i get a feeling that it will be a kinda boring match with both teams not taking any risk and unstylish football.

everton must strengthen their squad. grinding out results is not the way to go against major league champions in europe. they are really a class lower than most. -
with so much talks about the holder of champ league should return to defend their title, liverpool has better gotta win this one.
kinda amuse me just by imaginating what the headline is going to be if liverpool lose it end of the day.
