I feel that Smicer was never really settled in a playing position. Perhaps thats why he never really established himself as a starting regular in the team.
For me, Smicer is at his best playing just off the main striker. But there was never really space for him in that position.
Nevertheless, he's done his part in the last 6 yrs. Thank you!

Age also a factor , disadvantage for him .
Liverpool always built a team consisting age averagely 25+ players , being 30+ , Smicer just has to go to give way to a younger fella . -

took smicer 6 years to finally be a kop hero, but he'll remain in our hearts for many more 6 years to come
