Attitude of Some LFC Supporters

Some of us are getting real cocky just because we are in this year's UCL final. I would appreciate if we could remain humble, and acknowledge the fact that we only finished 5th in EPL.
Looking down on others should not be a trait of LFC supporters, albeit insulting them. We have a rich football tradition and good ties with other clubs, including their supporters. What we do not want are supporters who behave like El Hadji Diouf.

Well, to start things off, I am just coming in to post comments, not to rub things further. I know that both our clubs have rich history and rivarly. Taunting each other is a 2 way traffic, and it has been happening long before most of us were born. I must admit that my club in these years has always been second best or some say third best soccer team in Mersyside. Now that we have earn a qualification match for CL, comments from some LFC fans have turned into insults which are uncalled for. It's alright to be jubilant of our UCL victory. However, I wish to caution against laughing at our opponents or insulting other teams.

if this thread is started cos of the one i started (the one that quotes chelsea fans mocking at us during the CL match with milan), dan i apologise...
but it was done in a respectful and humorous nature...
liverpool fans, i believe on the whole are one the most friendly and mild-mannered soccer lovers locally... yes, its true that we didnt win much for the past 5 or 6 years (bar the treble) so theoretically speaking, we arent in the wrong for celebrating our CL victory
anyway this forum is 'you'll never walk alone'... i dont think pool fans will argue or fight with one another cos of such matters... such conflicts are always sparked by supporters of other clubs coming here n offending us.. (a good example will be stellazio, jus stating a fact no offence) -

I've no intention to pinpoint or blame anyone, just to serve a reminder that LFC fans are known for their big heart and friendliness to other clubs and their supporters.

I personally don't call other team funny names, only to the guys i play football with yet even with them i usually hold back the name calling.
I've noticed some of the posts here insulting other teams. Well it may be fun and humour to those who said it but is it fun to the receiving party?
It would be better if fans of football keep their discussions to football, this way info and knowledge is shared better. -
