'Rafa to partner Cisse with Kewell'

Rafa Benitez is planning to deploy Harry Kewell in a withdrawn striker role behind Djibril Cissé in the Champions League final, according to reports.
The Guardian claims that Liverpool have been experimenting with the formation in training as an alternative to using a five-man midfield with skipper Stevie Gerrard in an advanced role against AC Milan on Wednesday night.
In view of Kewell's negligible contribution this season, compounded by an all-too public row with BenÃtez over the Aussie's continued fitness problems, the forward's inclusion would be a major shock.
Cisse, though, appears favourite to be given the task of leading Liverpool's attack ahead of Milan Baros in Istanbul.
The Czech forward could be dropped for the game following revelations that his agent, Pavel Paska, has been in talks with other clubs over a move at the end of the season.
Baros told the Daily Mirror: "I have had several offers from other clubs and it is now the job of my agent Pavel to talk to them. We will listen to what is offered."
He added: "I am calm about my future and I can concentrate fully on the Champions League final. Maybe I will leave Anfield, maybe I will stay.
"But my main aim at the moment is that I can keep my place ahead of Cisse for the final against Milan, and I will do my best to make that happen." -

sometimes when players start dreaming... they lost focus and pay the price. I just hope the lads will keep their focus and talk after the lift the cup. -
you know something?in soccer normally the the teams that talks the most ends up losing..seems like milan has been doing too much talking about their experience..so liverpool shud put their foot into milan's mouth and shut them up.

Traore is lousy today... he lacks the pace and gets caught so many times... but he is still going forward instead of staying back....
Baros is a goner, lacks the bite against stam....
Kewell is worse.... a whiner.....
But we still have 50 Mins to go..... hopefully Gerard wakes up into good use -

How the fuc-king HELL DID BAROS FU-CKING MISS THAT MANY CHANCES? & HOW THE HELL DID GRACIA EVEN MISS A DAMNED SITTER.
overall i thought liverpool were outplayed by tactics... but they did well except for the 3 goals...zzz -
Well if people believed chelsea were robbed of their final place maybe its coincidental that crespo should score 2 eh.but anyway i was hoping to be treated to a good match of football but i didn't expect it to be so one sided..oh my goodness milan really make liverpool look ordinary like in the premiership.

i hate to say this even though i am a moderator here.
lets be frank among ourselves.
liverpool are one class lower than the top sides now. RB has a lot to do. and i hope the board will fully support him.
it is evident from their league standing. they are 37 pts behind chelsea, nearer to bottom club southampton.
liverpool are lucky to make it this far. why dont we just enjoy the occasion.
this match also proved that liverpool's squad have no depth. -
