A Tribute to The Greatest Manager on Earth - Benitez
Poolman
We've got a real talent , a Top man for the Top job .
First season , he got us into The League Cup Final , and lost , but it's okay , it just a League Cup .
First season , he brought us the European Cup ! Yes ! The European Cup , we're not dreaming , that's European Champion ! Against all odds , to add salt to wounds , he only had to content with half fit squad .
He did it ! How does he do it ?
He's just a wonderful motivator , 3-0 down to Milan at 1st Half , how on earth he team talked his players ?
It's just amazing how things had turned around for the second half , in six wonderful minutes !
I still can't believe it !
I only believe someone had help Dudek , Pope John Paul is Polish , and Jerzy Dudek is Polish too !

Our chief - Rick Parry cldn't hv summed it better:
"We were looking for a young, hungry, ambitious coach with a track of record of success in major competitions and he fitted that bill perfectly.
"We've got there rather more quickly than we even imagined when we hired Rafa, but we're delighted for him as he deserves his success. We never had any doubts that he was the right man."
While Jose Mourinho proclaims himself to be the "special one", Benitez, who has similarly followed the UEFA Cup with the Champions League, is modesty personified.
Parry insisted: "Rafa won't be shouting from the rooftops. That epitomises the Liverpool way but he still deserves every plaudit he gets."

Personally I cldn't hv dreamt of such achievements in his 1st season....even tho inside my heart, I tot he was the rite man.

Benitez,i salute you
incredible
All said and truly well said...but there are not yet assured if they can defend the champions league.
Look at the league table. No.4 reads Everton. For all knock out competition, sometime it can be a combination of many things...including luck. But when league is concern....everyone knows tt only consistency comes into the picture.
You will never walk alone..But i will never walk with you.
Cos I am a Evertonian.

i dun think he can be considered the greatest manager.he just won the champions league yea no doubt great achievement.but den again there were previous liverpool managers in their illustrious history tat won so much more. dominated europe, epl and almost everything during their glory days.wad he has achieved is considered nothing as compared to all those before him.but he is good so hopefully for u liverpool fans and not hopefully for me a chelsea fan, he will become even better,or shall i say the liverpool team should play better.
