Jose Luis Chilavert comes in a close second... for that moment in the World Cup, where Paraguay played their hearts out, but still lost.. he was in tears, but still going around telling his team to stand up proud, lifting them up to stand up.. now.. where do you get a Captain like that anymore? -

where would you find a bunch of people, "playing football" who had no right to be there, didn't even have a stadium of their own, playing top-flight football?
and their opponents were always bloody afraid of them...
this bunch had the audacity and courage to challenge the very best, stick their thumbs up their noses to the established clubs, and win the FA Cup!
