liverpool will make full use of the opportunity to land themselves with a few free players and transfer money in excess of 32 million pounds. they will not be silly enough to sell him to a premiership club.
i believe chelsea has no interest in gerrard too. they are trying to sabotage RM. -

Before last season, who expected LFC to win the Champion's League? Especially after they lost a certain scouser in the name of Michael Owen.
Who is to be for sure that LFC can't win the league this season?Miracles do happen my friends. LFC fans should know better.
No player is bigger than the club. We should not keep a player if his desire is no longer there. With all respect to Steven Gerrard, he is a great player. But since he's come out of the closet and declared that he wants out, he should just go. Losing him now is better than losing him in the middle of the season of worst the start of next where his value will have significantly dropped.
Losing Gerrard does not necessarily spell disaster. We don't have to look far for an example. Everton became a better team after Rooney left.
We all got to look towards the future. Rafa needs to scout for able replacements. Players with the will to win and the desire to play for the club. Anfield will never walk alone. No player is bigger than the club.

As for now , we must be calm .
We did fairly well without Stevie Gerrard when he was injured for eight weeks last season , now he chose to go , trust me , we'll move on from here . Even more desire to win , even more stronger , psychologically .
We make a mistake in telling him we'll built a team around him , which I thought it's flattening for him . Now he's thinking himself as in-dispensable .
Oh how wrong he might be .
When Michael Owen left us , we won the European Cup , and prove to MO he was wrong to leave .
Now SG is leaving , we must prove to him , like what we prove to Mick Owen .
And win the elusive EPL TItle , without any Star Player .

If I'm Rick Parry , I'll reject any bid from anyone from now .
Since Gerrard has two years left on his contract , I'll keep him for this two years , still paying with his 60,000 pound per wk wages , and sent him to....on even on the reserve .
By the time , he's 27 , see what he can do @ 27 , without playing for 2 years . !
Without playing on Top level football , his fitness will be affected , and his WC2006 dreams will definitely shatter by not playing .
If we can afford this move , adopt this move and ruin him .

Besides, LFC are'nt that far off the top teams. Eleven on Eleven, they'nt quite far off the rest. All they need is a little more consistency throughout the season and they'll be good.
I think its foolish to believe that Pool can't win the league. There's always a chance they could go all the way. You never know my friend.
Heck, I'm just a Die Hard Liverpool fan. -
