i fully agree.Originally posted by Poolman:Chelsea and Real Madrid has an agreement last few days ... that both this two clubs will not engage in the player's transfer war between them .
But this time around , both this two clubs are in a hell of turmoil .
I bet you , Fiorentino Perez will get his next phone call from Rick Parry .
Stand aside Chelsea , Rick Parry will asked Perez this : " Chelsea willing to pay me 32 million pounds for this player name Stevie Gerrard , if you pay me 35 million pounds , plus XXX and XXY players , this players is yours !
Trust me , S.Gee heading Spanish land !
We chant "Wayne Rooney", "Wayne Rooney" back lor.....Originally posted by incredible:Next Yr, Toffee's fans will be chanting "Stevie G! Stevie G!" during merseyside derby.
Fellow Magpie just like me, aren't you?Originally posted by waitrose:Well, we are not talking about clubs like West Brom or Blackburn who realistically doesn't have a chance of landing the title. But in Liverpool, we can do it if everyone plays their part. By going to Madrid or Chelsea is to take the easy way out. That is a loser. Just look at Shearer. He is a fantastic player. But what medals and trophies he has? None. But he still remain at Newcastle even though he could have gone to Man U. Why? Because he is a Geordie through and through and Newcastle does have a realistic chance, albeit a small one, to win the title and he will fight for it at Newcastle. These are the players I admire. They don't quit and say that they are great players and they need to win things. If all great players simply go to Chelsea, Arsenal or Man U just to win medals, then what's the future hold for other clubs, especially those potential clubs like Spurs, Liverpool and Newcastle?
Were they? I thought they only went down in 1999 and returned in 2001 along with Fulham.Originally posted by 798:yeah. the following year, blackburn was relegated to D1 after shearer left.
blackburn went tod1 twice i think or for 2 yrsOriginally posted by iveco:Were they? I thought they only went down in 1999 and returned in 2001 along with Fulham.
Everton later signed James Beattie. This guy is certainly better. Plus he is somewhat more matured.Originally posted by RSP:Losing Gerrard does not necessarily spell disaster. We don't have to look far for an example. Everton became a better team after Rooney left.

why izzit that you seem to mention alot about luck and miracles?because deep down inside you know without it,you be nothing...ucl was very lucky everyone knows it..but please it would be dead foolish for u to harbour any hopes of winning the epl with luck...Originally posted by RSP:Before last season, who expected LFC to win the Champion's League? Especially after they lost a certain scouser in the name of Michael Owen.
Who is to be for sure that LFC can't win the league this season?Miracles do happen my friends. LFC fans should know better.
No player is bigger than the club. We should not keep a player if his desire is no longer there. With all respect to Steven Gerrard, he is a great player. But since he's come out of the closet and declared that he wants out, he should just go. Losing him now is better than losing him in the middle of the season of worst the start of next where his value will have significantly dropped.
Losing Gerrard does not necessarily spell disaster. We don't have to look far for an example. Everton became a better team after Rooney left.
We all got to look towards the future. Rafa needs to scout for able replacements. Players with the will to win and the desire to play for the club. Anfield will never walk alone. No player is bigger than the club.
Because miracles do happen.
