Baros are linked with G.Houllier's Lyon sometime last month , and Baros apparently don't seem to be keen on the move , after falling out with the offers , too low money , i think .

Actually I thought Diao moved permanently during the January transfer window, not on lona. So imagine my surprise when I saw him in Istanbul celebrating with the Reds. For a moment, I thought Wow! they even invite ex-Reds to go to Istanbul.

According to reports, Diao's talking to Boro.
Actually, I quite fancy Baros as a player. He adds something different to the team. He gives alot of energy and directness to the attack. Total different kind of player from Cisse or Morientes. Won't hurt to have more options upfront.
Unless funds are needed, keeping baros might not be such a bad idea. -
it will be a wise opinion liverpool to keep him. he is better than cisse.

Hope Baros will stick ard for a while. A much-fitter-n-ready Cisse and Morientes will prompt Baros for better displays. maybe last chance for him to prove himself.

well... i rate Baros as well... he ain e golden boot for the European Championships for nothing... his directness to goal is unique and will offer another possibility for our striking options.

It got something to do with Baros .
Baros can only excel with another striker that is tall , remember the Czech Jan Koller ?
In order to make full good use of Baros , we need anotehr towering forward , Crouch fits the bill . -

baros looks so fragile and flimsy..he's style of dribbling will get him nowhere too.. liverpool lacks a genuine playmaker..i think poolman is wrong in thi fact..its not koller who supplied baros most of his assists during euro..although a big man is always benefical for speedy forwards but rather a true playmaker..and in czech they have thomas rosicky..if benitez wants a good baros or 20 goal a season man..go get a playmaker like aimar..

If he stays, he needs 2 improve - not juz his work rate (with goals!) but his attitude.
Fm the interviews, I'm glad he noes he has 2 fight for his place.... but he oso says if things dun go well, he will talk 2 his agent - sounds like a cry-baby 2 me!
I'm not writing him off....but like 2 see him prove his critics wrong! -

anyway during Euro, Rosicky was playing the 'Xabi Alonso' type of position. Playmaker was Pavel Nedved, together with Jan Koller, they both created a lot of space for Baros. -

I kinda like Milan Baros, he really works his socks off for the team but he can be selfish at times. On the other hand, the lack of widths, Gerrard's inconsistencies (due to contact then) and decent knock downs from a taller centre forward limited what he can do in front of goal.
Aimar is not really a playmaker but he make things happening just behind the two forwards. Players who plays deep from their halfs like Alonso would be the one. While Gerrard sui sui play around the center half and above. -
I like him too.. mainly for his attitude and workrate.. every match macham he wants to run his socks off before getting substituted.
But Rafa prefers Cisse leh. Hopefully this season Baros improves and prove himself to worthy of the first team loh. -

even if he stays dun think he will feature much in the team... tot benitez will rather use cisse than him... however, i wont mind if he stays... should try out his partnership with crouch
