it looks increasingly likely that crouch will come over for ard 7 million pounds.
do you think it will be a good buy?
dragg
definitely.
crouch can hold the ball very well and with his height aerial balls will be dangerous as well.
uncle_abc
his is damned tall la...
but i think he is bit weak....
dragg
valencia play the same formation with crew in front. he is very tall too.

Is Crouch really leaving Saints?
CoolMyth
Considering the number of matches Liverpool is gonna play this season, the more strikers the better....

Crouch was selected for England and stands a chance for WC2006 in Germany for England , playing in Southampton do not help to his England's WC ambition .
He has to leave to be playing at the very top level .
No player in the world would say 'No' to a club like L'pool .

Maybe Benitez discovered in English football , to win games , you need to be dominance in the penalty box , and without a lanky forward , you can't achieve that .
Crouch fits that bill .
His height and age an advantage .
Only problem , his needs to built up his physique , he seemed a bit skinny to me .
Wow...... Morientes , Cisse , Baros , Pongelle , Mellor , Le Tellac and now Crouch .
6 Strikers ?????

I don't know. He was rather poor when he was at Aston Villa. I am not really impressed with him too when he is at Southampton, even though he score goals. I would rather have Andrew Johnson actually. That guy is stronger and also good in the air, but a bit shorter than Crouch. In any case, I trust Rafa and I am sure he sees something good in Crouch that I don't.

Crouching tiger hidden Dragon, you've not seen the best of him yet

he needs to prove himself at the highest level..even with meagre service in southampton he could score..maybe with better service he can do even better.. he's talent has not bloomed yet..maybe at liverpool itt will..
