Anyway , this stage two teams progress , I expect Chelsea and us to progress .
I thought Chelsea is more afraid of us ?
Now we're facing Chelsea , Mick Owen will be most likely to come back .

If we can beat Chelsea at Anfield with a half f*ck injury prone squad , what's the problem this season ?

Chelsea is not an important team in this group , the other two is important , cos we need at least 9 points to proceed into the knock out stage .
Meaning two wins and three draws , or three wins and one draw .
Two wins must come from the two home games of Real Betis and Anderlect , and playing draw for all away games . Winning both legs against one of those teams will be a bonus .
We just need to deny Chelsea three points when playing against them .

of course its not favourable to be in the same group with EPL champ, but if liverpool has to kick juventus, chelsea and ac milan's balls to win last season's tournament, they jolly well have to do it again.

buy it or not, luck plays an important role in football, else chelsea wouldnt have won wigan & arsenal and everton would have better chance in qualifying with the disallowed equaliser.

And a return of the ever-fit again Cisse ?
And the UCL scoring king of Morientes ?

Whatever rivalry , Liverpool and Chelsea are going into the next phase as Top-2 , it's good to meet at this stage , 'cos meeting at this stage will aviod each other in the next .
Meaning AC Milan , Juventus and the rest will meet Chelsea except us . -

Tuesday, December 6th. Chelsea v Liverpool
All kick-off times are 7.45pm British time.

First three games , 2 Away matches & 1 Home . By the time the second leg begins , we already knew where we stand , and with two home ties against Anderlecht and Betis , we technically know how to approach this two matches .
If this two Home games ended in both wins , then the last away match against Chelsea is basically irrelevant .
If the first three matches can fetch us 5 points , it'll be a success liao . -
I am more interested in seeing Thun's debut appearance in Europe's elite football tournament. Same goes for Artmedia (coincidentally grouped with Celtic's bitter rival Rangers).

The desire is the key to the match.
Just hope that they can tahan the tough EPL season without any injuries.
The only concern is on the team itself, not the opponents.
We are in Champion League, so have to be prepare to meet Real Madrid, Juventus and Ajax eventually.
Hope they can gel in time.
