Van der Meyde set to join Everton
Inter Milan's Dutch international winger Andy van der Meyde has agreed terms on a £2m move to Everton.
Everton officials flew to Milan after the Champions League clash with Villarreal to thrash out a deal for the talented 25-year-old.
He has fallen out of favour at the San Siro after coming to prominence as a youngster at Ajax.
Van der Meyde wants regular action to ensure he stays in Holland's squad ahead of the World Cup.
Everton boss David Moyes said: "Van der Meyde is coming in for a medical and we will see how it goes." -

Best buy in a sense , he only cost Everton 2 million pounds .
I can put him in those 5-6 million pounds bracket , or even more .
I was wondering .... whether the agent of this Van Der Meyde actually approach L'pool on this guy's availability ?
This agent should know we need , and badly need a winger of Van Der Meyde calibre ...... it shouldn't be a problem with just 2 million . -

I have seen him plying his trade at Inter Milan some time last Season on TV and wasn't too impressed although he performed pretty well in CM la. Talented nevertheless but inconsistent performance from the Dutchman. Can dift out of the game as and when he wants to but can be determined enuff to pull of some great crosses from the right.
Considering the amt of $$ for him.. it's a good buy la. -

Guys, give us a chance lah
We don't have alot of money to buy quality players like other big clubs do. All we are purchasing are actually rejects, and giving them a chance to resurrect their career. -
