Seriously pool fans,who woudld you rather see leading your frontline cisse or owen?And cisse is still damn young la,but both similar styles quick and pacey just that cisse abit more hardworking..

I would prefer both, though both are pacey i think they are very different players. Cisse is fast and has more body strength than owen, whereas owen has more 'goal sense'. I would prefer to offload morientes as we already have Crouch who is good in the air.

Liverpool will be involved in 4 Cup competition this year.
If Ah Ben think of offloading Cisse for Mickey, then he is pretty short sighted.
He should learned his lesson well about the possible injury to the squad.
We need more strikers and a change in tactics for EPL.
I am looking at the commitment of the strikers.
Cisse have already show his commitment in GETTING THE SUPER CUP "SINGLEHANDEDLY" for Liverpool, although he is pissed off to be released for the last 10 minutes.
Cisse is pretty back to match fitness as we can see his recovery of his speed.
Another striker that is commited to Liverpool is SOLD.
Baros have already proven that he is back to form and sharpness if he can play with the 4-4-2 formation.
However, he is offloaded from the Liverpool team.
He is also back to match fitness and will be a gem in Aston Villa.
As for Mickey, although he is a PROVEN striker, he is NOT MATCH FIT.
And the only reason why he want to be back is FOR THE WORLD CUP.
SO, I questioned his commitment in every game as he will be saving his leg for the WOrld Cup.
As for Garcia, he can only be played as a substitute to unlock defence.
He is a proven ball loser.
For Crouch, he is injured.
But, I believe he will make a difference in holding the ball upfront.
Lastly for Nando, he is not yet match fit.
The sad stuff that I observed about him is he tend to stray to the midfield to support the play.
This leave no one up front to score the goal.
HE IS NOT HUNGRY AND AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH.
So, it is not Owen or Cisse.
Liverpool NEED them for the all the cup competition.
I hope Liverpool Football Club is not stupid enough to left Cisse go. -

Look at the 3rd goal created by Cisse. At least we can use him as a right wing.

Why cannot have four strikers ?
We have got the EPL , UCL , FA Cup , and Worthless Cup , and some World Cup Qualifers , who can be sure non of them got injured within this period of time ?
If I'm Benitez , this what i'll do , I'll tell Cisse : " Do you like to play every match ? In whatever position I play you ? Including the right wing for you when Owen is playing ? You'll be played as centre forward when Owen is replaced , it's that fine with you ? or you prefer to rotate betwen you and Owen , someone has to be on the bench ? And no complaints at all from you ?
Cisse will be crazy to say " NO " to Benitez , who do not like to play every match ? Who like to be in the bench most of the half season ?
Benitez is a clever man , tactically , he can make full use of all the players .
Cannot imagine when we're one goal down , and Benitez play Nando , Owen and Cisse , in those 4-3-3 formations , opponent will be kept very very busy . -
If Nando and Crouch is those aerial type of players , it's fair we've got 2 pacey players , especially now Baros is gone , Owen replacing Baros , fair ma .

If Ian Rush can go to Juventus and came back to L'pool a better player , if this applies to Owen , why not ?

Now the scenario is like this :
1.Owen want to come back . Benitez not in a hurry to get him .
2.Newcastle want to pay Real 18 million , L'pool want to pay only 8 million .
3.Perez want to sell to Newcastle for 18 m , Owen only want a loan .
4.Owen want to go back only to LFC , Perez dun wan 8 m , want LFC to pay more .
5.Benitez and Parry wants a loan-deal , Real want straight cash deal .
