look at the shape of your foot.
if its long and slender, nike.
if its wide, adidas.
predator is slightly heavy. -
If you're those dribbling type , Nike 90 or those Tiempo model is good . Light weight and best of all , accuracy .
If you're those tough tackling type , and those high balls fella , PUMA not bad .
Adidas ??? Unless you want to bend it like Becks .
No suitable for Singapore's type of wet surfaces , slippery .
Adidas Beckenbaur model is the best , power , accuracy and durable . Can tahan muddy and moist pitch . -
Mercurial ? Marketing good only , the studs not good for normal surfaces , it's very good unless you play at those Stadium type of grass , if not , muddy and wet surfaces , damn slippery , bacause of the studs .

Mecurial vapour is light and makes your off the ball running faster.However don't go for the cheaper ones,go for the one costing 170 that is the better one,no blisters..For me i'm a right winger,so i wear the old predator mania white one.. Don't really like the pulse version though..

Singapore humidity , and those pitches , tense to be wet and sliipery , and it's best we use the round type of conventional studs , the problem with Adidas , the studs are those .. what we called ? Like a spike type , some cresent moon shape type , this type of studs good for Millenia Stadium , not for our Singapore normal moist pitches .
My friend has got that Adidas Predator .... looked damn good , kick damn powerful , but when running ... Yucks , fell all the times . especially when making turnings and twistings , and jam brakes , terrible . he said so . -
Irregardless of the position you play in, it's not essential. What kind of boots to buy really depends on the quality of the ground you play in.
If you are playing on hard ground like most SG fields, go for boots that has 12 studs so that the hard impact spreads over the foot. The blades type of boots or 4 by 2 boots like the vapour will be suitable for softer ground. -
Some boots used stitches , some used rivets + glue type , some used glue only type .....
I know Nike Tiempo and Zoom used glue type , made-in-Indonesia , cannot last very long .
Stitches one , only Umbro Owen and Shearer type , very durable , can last years .
I know Adidas Beckenbauer is a very durable boots , my friends has one pair , last him quite a number of years .
Made-In-Germany somemore .
For your info , Beckenbauer Molded model has been in the market for over twenty yrs , if it's no good , it won't last twenty or so yrs in the market .
I love this pair , but too bad.....I can't afford it , it's selling at around $100 ? Think so . -
