Liverpool's game play is simple - Pump the ball to Crouch.
Similar to GH's gameplan, pump the ball to Owen.
Just mark Crouch and you have killed Liverpool.
No Liverpool players are hanging around the 6-yard box to fight for loose ball.

Liverpool have alot of pace actually and with xabi and gerrard who are great passers of the balls..come on make use of cisse and sinama's pace instead of always going for the long aerial ball..It is proven that the best kind of attack is played on the ground instead of the long aerial balls..

remember last time I guessed the score line of 0-2 ? I wanted to put 0-3 But I scare of getting blast here so I put 0-2 And I got blasted not so badly though if I had put 0-3 before the match started everyone would blast me but my scoreline predict is quite accurate chelsea did win by 3 goals

As for the ball to hand incident...it's impossible to guess his INTENTIONS.
I think a natural reaction is to TURN YOUR BACK TO AVOID POOSSIBLE INJURY. When you raise your hand the way he did, you are asking for trouble...he was lucky. -

There is no way for Cisse to utilise his pace when a team defends so deeply. Which is why I can understand why Rafa choose not to play Cisse in this match.
The only matter I dont understand is why stick to 4-5-1 when we obviously do not have the personnel to play that formation?

Chelsea played a 4-3-3 to me and liverpool played a 4-5-1 systems ...and Chelsea truly deserved the win......they won by 3 goals.......Liverpool will only have thier revenge @ Stamford Bridge...

Their version of 4-3-3 is an off-spring of Rafa's 4-5-1 as well. Three central midfielders of which one will go foward regularly to support the attack. Rafa's 4-5-1 in an ideal world should work like 4-3-3 when we attack. Unfortunately, we dont really have the personnel yet. I blame it on the lack of movement in the team. -
Actually i feel that pool is more like a 4-4-1-1 ..Cause stevie g seems to be the attacking midfielder..

Not really , the main problem , the rest of the team not scoring enough .
Some centre halve can score from set-pieces .
Some midfielder can turn hattrick hero over night .
Some goalkeeper , like some from Brazil , can score from free-kicks and penalty .
L'pool needs to buck up in scoring , and it shouldn't be shoulder by Crouch and Gerrard .
It's a 11 players game .
