I watched the replay just now..... this is the common comment I heard "Once AGAIN, Crouch failed to create something out of it...."
I wonder who gave him that 7 million price tag. I begin to wonder is that fellow looking at Yao Min's value in NBA or what. At least Yao Min looks slightly.. just slight better

It will take sometime for him to switch from a team of Southampton's category to the more continental style of L'pool's , and also that most difficult barrier , language barrier .
How to communicate best when most players on the frontline spoke only Spanish and French ?

i somehow feel that crouch is a lucky charm for liverpool and england. with him, there will be some hope.

I tried and I do like the way he holds the ball and waits for the midfields to attack BUT as a striker he should have done better in many situations. What I am pissed about is not Crouch not being able to score... but his price tag. Its WAY OVER THE LIMIT for someone like him

This is not the 1st day of work for Crouch.
He is not NEW to the EPL.
Language barrier is not a good reason or excuse.
what about the rest of the English players ??
Do they have a language problem also ?
I believe that the fans, myself included have already cut him a lot of slack.
He was bought to score and hold the ball upfront.
So far, he did not score or hold the ball probably.
What have he done ???
If he just taking up a position so as to prove that Ah Ben is not wrong and not scoring, I rather he is seated at the bench and LOOK at how his fellow players score a goal.
For the team, he is just hogging 1st team placing without any contribution.
Even Harry Keng-well play better yesterday in creating the chance.
The fact is that he is NOT good enough as the rest of the people are blowing trumpet about.
He is like Heskey, Diouf and company. -

See .... Crouch is not that sort of striker that perform hit & run week in week out like Owen , likewise , Benitez expect Crouch to act like an assist to other strikers and midfielders , if you are expected to be an assist , you need some sort of communication between other strikers , now there isn't any .
I guess the price tag is too big a burden for Crouch . To big for the fans . -
Anyway , talking about Crouch .... I had 100% faith in Benitez's choice of player . Crouch's form will come .
Let him settle down , and see what he can do . -
