There is a possibility , but quite different to the case of MU .
L'pool FC or RicK Parry "only" wanted to "sell" the Stadium name to the Kraft family , just what Arsenal had did , "sold" the entire stadium to "The Emirates" .
And like Bolton , sold the Stadium rights to Reebok .
It's a trend now .
We welcome this extra funds coming in this way , but i certainly don't welcome throwing our control away .
Just like Man Utd , throwing away the control and owe the bank 790 million pounds , it's crazy .
That Stevie Morgan wanted to gain control , which i thought David Moore doesn't like it .
The Thai consortium also wanted a few seats inside the board with little money , David Moore also doesn't like it .
Building a stadium cost alot of $$$ , this fund will come in handy in terms of player's salaries and transfer kitty . -

Like what Poolman said, it's quite different from the case of Man U.
Its just stadium naming rights and a couple of other stuffs.Besides, LFC needs the financial support. Over the long run, it will benefit the club.
Sounds fine to me, just aslong as they don't name give the arena some cheesy name... -

For your information, this Robert Kraft has got nothing to do with the cheese.
He owns Rand-Whitney and International Forest Products, one of the largest privately-owned paper and packaging enterprises in the United States.
This is not his first time funding sports teams. He's successuly funded New England Revolution and New England Patriots. Its also good to know that he plays football during his college days. -
