Head-to-head count !!Originally posted by X-men:Currently

If Liverpool draw with Real Betis and Chelsea wins Anderlecht
1 Liverpool 11
2 Chelsea 10
3 Real Betis 7
4 Anderlecht 0
If Liverpool beats Chelsea and Real Betis wins Anderlecht
1 Liverpool 14
2 Chelsea 10
3 Real Betis 10
4 Anderlecht 0
But currently Chelsea has got a positive 4 goal difference while Real has a negative 3 goal difference. Unless Real can beat Anderlecht by 10 goals, Chelsea will qualified on goal difference?
Or the rule is such that because Real beat Chelsea before, therefore they qualify?
Anyone knows what's the rule?
since jose manager carrer in porto his side never once beaten @ home ground........Originally posted by Medicated Oil:The Liverpool Fan at the Kop End of Anfield is spared once again from a falling beanpole striker.
I guess if the Bamboo dun score by end Dec, he will have to pack his bag and go.
Good result for Liverpool this morning.
Now to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
it will still be a grudge match.Originally posted by stellazio:heng ar..now both teams through..but one thing hor since both of the managers are foreign,i doubt they will care much about the match at stamford bridge..in fact i think both hoping for a draw nia..
so what happen when Chelsea finish with 10 points (lose to Liverpool) and Real Betis (wins Anderlecht) also finish with 10 points, who will qualify?Originally posted by Poolman:Head-to-head count !!
Chelsea did beat Real Betis at home earlier in the season 4-0 , and Chelsea lost to Betis 1-0 away , so head-to-head , Chelsea advantage .Originally posted by X-men:so what happen when Chelsea finish with 10 points (lose to Liverpool) and Real Betis (wins Anderlecht) also finish with 10 points, who will qualify?
