We're definitely on a good run....but Wigan will be a stern test.
I'm quite impressed with their striking pair upfront....so I'm not 2 hopeful for another clean sheet. Juz hope we can outscore them in the end!

Definitely one of the best performances I've seen of Liverpool lately. The Wigan keeper was good.

L'pool made Wigan side very normal , doesn't looked like Top-6 team .
We played very well considering Wigan beat the likes of Newcastle etc ....
Crouch really silence some critics .
His second goal , waht can I say ... simply cool .
We could have got 5 or 6 more goals if not for their goalkie .
So.... anyone still doubt what Crouch can do ? -

Arsenal is trailing by 2 goals.
If Man Utd lost later, Liverpool will be 2nd place this weekend. -
in the long run wigan will drop down to mid table where they belong.

Wigan played a very physical game like Bolton Wanderers.
They are physically and mentally strong.
So, they should be able to stay within the top half of the table.
If Liverpool can played like the 1st Half for the rest of the season,
they will be unbeatable. -

Main reason we are a better team .
I said before , it takes more than determinations and teamwork to beat L'pool , especially at Anfield .
You must have a 200million squad to really get a decent result at Anfield .

Ah Ben and Stevie have so far strengthen the team spirit and team belief that they can chase Chelsea.
Soccer is all about belief.
If you have the belief, you play and defend well.
Arsenal is a strong team, but they make silly mistake at the back to concede the two goals.
The spirit at Anfield is high as the fans are happy with the run of victories after so much inconsistency for the past 5 seasons.
With the departure of Keane and Vieira, the midfield of Man Utd and Arsenal have weakened a lot.
So, the only team with a strong midfield wizard is Frank Lampard of Chelsea.
Not discounting or scoffing the rest of the EPL teams, with Liverpool form in the 1st half last night, only Chelsea can be on par with Liverpool.
The fact is that Liverpool did not kill the game at 2nd half and let Wigan come back on the 2nd half.
With the help of Wigan, they have also exposed the weakness of Liverpool Defence - the MIA right-back and slow centre-back.
Ah Ben should be able to address these issue as the players are more or less convinced the benefit of playing to his instructions.
Ah Ben and Jose belongs to the next generations of managers that planned their game with upmost details (As shown in New Paper on Chelsea's game plan against Newcastle)
