I thought he has been doing thatOriginally posted by Poolman:To be fair to Given , he saves Newcastle from further blushes.
they were very lucky ... there may still be action against them ... hopefully not though ...Originally posted by X-men:Crouch and Gerrard were lucky not to follow Bowyer to the dressing room.
sometimes I pity Bowyer.. he seems to be the ref's thorn in the eye
Lee Bowyer had been diving into players with two feet before that incident. Including that move by Kewell when he pushed the ball forward in the first half.Originally posted by kpo:they were very lucky ... there may still be action against them ... hopefully not though ...
actually i thought the red card was a little harsh ...
U saw that too ? Oh yeah , Tohari Paijan abit biased la i thought , i like it anyway .Originally posted by gasband:It was a fantastic performance... Crouch was stupid to get a yellow card...i expect RAFA to lecture him for that.... Today New Paper puts Rafa as the SPECIAL ONE instead of Mourinho.... i think its very justified... that the fact is that he just do his work...not talk and talk and talk....
i thought he was fouled just before he made the stupid challenge ... anyway, i'm glad he didn't join us ... phewOriginally posted by CoolMyth:Lee Bowyer had been diving into players with two feet before that incident. Including that move by Kewell when he pushed the ball forward in the first half.
A red card was warranted.
I was surprised to see Gerrard coming in and pushing NC players as well. As the captain, he shall be the one calming his team, not instigating fights.
If I were Rafa, the first thing I'll say in the dressing room was to give the entire team a good reprimand. "What the hell were you guys doing?" etc etc.
My 1st thot on seeing tat is : Oh sh*t, hope Alonso is not badly hurt! Relief is the word when seeing him back up again!Originally posted by kpo:the incident also showed how close the team has become ... ah ben would be pleased with that i think, but he would also want them to control themselves better like you said ...
true, images of that frank mafia appearedOriginally posted by Redz:My 1st thot on seeing tat is : Oh sh*t, hope Alonso is not badly hurt! Relief is the word when seeing him back up again!
While I'm no fans of violent conducts, tat incident shows tat Crouch is no weakling on the field....and I was "pleasantly" surprised to see Stevie pushing Shearer away!
