Rafael Benitez has today been named Barclays Manager of the Month for November after guiding the Reds to four straight Premiership victories.
It's the first time the Reds' manager has won the award and comes as a fitting accolade after steering Liverpool towards the top end of the league table.
The Reds scored eight goals without reply in their four league fixtures during the course of the month as they racked up victories over Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Manchester City and Sunderland.
Liverpool also picked up a victory and a draw from their two Champions League clashes in November - again without conceding a goal.
"It was a good month for us," said the Liverpool manager today. "We won games, scored goals, kept clean sheets and moved up the table.
"This award is for everyone at the club and not just me. I want to share it with my staff, the players and the supporters. Everyone involved in the club is a key player in our team and everyone has been working really hard. When you work hard then you can be successful.
"It's nice to receive individual awards like this but it wouldn't happen if we didn't have such a good group of people at the club. I have confidence that we can keep improving and win more games. That's the idea."
