To be fair, most of the team did not have a good game. And the oni good thing abt Cisse these days is he sulks less....but performace-wise, I'm still unimpressed! -

Being a Liverpool fan... I hate the result last night BUT I think its only fair based on how the Reds performed.
HORRIBLE!!
I don't see the 'fire' in them to get the results. Did Benitez got it wrong again? playing Cisse and Crouch, putting Gerrard to the right.
Why not Cisse on the right and Gerrard behind Crouch as a free role player?
Cisse just seems to get worse -

We were doing alright until Crouch was sub .... aren't you people aware that there were no corners conceded by MU until Crouch was taken off ? This prove that MU knew our strength when crouch is around . Our first half is alright , but were abit bizarre when the second half started , Gerrard were deployed more like a defensive midfielder , alongside Momo and Xabi .
Instead of his usual surging forward role .
Our plot were ruined when Crouch were taken off .
Crouch is trhe key , we just doesn't have any guys that can hold the ball in the middle .
Cisse will be off this summer for sure , he was given plenty of chance to prove his worth , but time and time again , he let that opportunity ran over him .
I'll be running out of patience if I'm Benitez . -
cisse is not good enough for liverpool's ambitions.
they should sell him while he is still worth some money. -
although Cisse's performance is erratic, he is the goal scorer that won Liverpool the Super Cup.
I am not sure whether he is trying to piss Ah Ben off to get posted out of Liverpool.
Hope he can recovered his sharpness soon.
He can not be sold unless Liverpool find a replacement.
Dun see Ah Ben eyeing any striker at the moment.
He is still stubbornly faithful in Crouch and Nando. -
The only way to go forward is to get another striker that can score naturally like Ian Rush or Robbie fowler , players who was given half a chance and they score .
Players like Henry , RVN and E'to fall in this category , We have non in the squad .
Since Mellor is loan out , hope Benitez loan in a striker that can really score half a chance from anywhere on the pitch . -

First of all ..... why should we pay double ?
Secondly , for that kind of "double" amount , we can easily get awesome players from the continent for half of the amount if carefully scount , and taller , bigger and mobile players .
From there , then we compare this new chap with owen , against the price .
No doubt Owen is a prolific scorer , that was under Houllier reign .
Under Benitez , we might be a bit different , tactically that is .
Owen might not fit into our new system .
It's a risk consider that amt of money we're going to buy back Owen . -

i am not saying they are no good, but look at morientes, crouch and cisse. how much does each cost? how many goals did each one of them score in a season?
to be a real contender they need a striker that can score 20-30 goals a season. -
I guess base on what i read articles about Owen's saga , he is "game-over" for Liverpool .
