Chelsea in for Simao !

Newspaper reports today claim that Chelsea have tabled a £15million bid for Simao Sabrosa "in the hope it will scupper Liverpool's move for the winger".
It is claimed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has proposed to pay the transfer fee now to conclude a deal but then loan Sabrosa back to Benfica for the rest of the season. Mourinho's thoughts are that this would then help prevent Liverpool from strengthening their squad for their push on the later stages of the Champions League run-in.
A Portuguese source is quoted as saying: "Benfica's asking price price for Sabrosa has always been around the £15million mark. They will not budge on that figure but Liverpool have been unwilling to meet it.
"But now Chelsea have entered the race the whole situation has changed and Benfica are ready to do a deal with them." -

got money also no use...even if club wanna sell, simao might not go to chelsea becoz too much compeitition...if got to liverpool, at least he'll get into the 1st eleven...compared to chelsea, must wait for someone suspended or injured, then got chance to play..

Chelsea only spoil market. They are trying to squeeze the smaller clubs out of business.
I support Sepp Blatter's plan to limit the number of foreigners per club. In this way, clubs like Chelsea can't splurge on non-homegrown megastars.
