Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Liverpool striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle.
Manager Rafael Benitez has allowed Pongolle to sign for Rovers on loan until the end of the season now that Robbie Fowler is back at Anfield.
Rovers boss Mark Hughes said: "We were keen to add to our striking options and we welcome the opportunity to bring Flo here."
The French hitman was signed by Gerard Houllier along with his cousin Anthony Le Tallec who's on loan at Sunderland.

Sinama would make a difference on the right wing.
This loan is one I dun understand.
Ah Ben is loaning players that are on form and keeping players that are off colour.
I am not sure this is a right decision in the coming heavy fixture.
stellazio
maybe benitez wants him to gain exp..
Poolman
1.Keep wages down . 2.Gain experience
Good exposure for Sinama , Sinama knew that with the inclusion of Fowler , his place is threaten , but he knew soon after Fowler retire , he's the one that will replace Fowler or even Morientes .
As for Sinama playing on the right , Benitez has stated , Cisse will be playing there more often .
The man who was death
hopes once he plays for blackburn, he'll want to sign for them and leave pool who dunno how to apprecaite young talents and would rather have a old fowl

I felt Pongelle shall understudy Luis Garcia.
Same built, same intelligence.
And Le Tallec shall understudy Xabi Alonso.
Shame when these two came, they were the hottest teenagers around and 'Pool is treating them like this.
