After playing with Chelsea for so many times, the last night match is an indication of Chelsea have found the way to break Liverpool.
All credits to Jose for this victory.
As for Ah Ben and his strikers, more things need to be learned and improved.
We can beat any teams except Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal.
I am more worried about the white bird behind Liverpool.
They are in striking form and Martin Jol have build up a pretty strong squad for the championship challenge.
This Feb Fixture will be a make and break month for Liverpool Club.
The arrival of the GOD will be critical but still dependent on whether Ah Ben want to put him in front of his scoreless strikers.
Ah Ben can be quite stubborn at times to prove that he is right.
(See how long did he persist with the 4-5-1 formation before he gave up) -
pool is meeting arsenal soon..they have to take full advantage of arsenal's weakness.

And like what others here have agreed, WE DO NEED A DEADLY STRIKER UPFRONT WHO CAN PUT THE DAMN BALL INTO THE NET ARGH!!!
Crouch's just wasting his chances upfront, tho you can see him trying real hard .. even twice trying to push cech to the limits with his height which is a good thing.
but he seriously needs to improve on his accuracy!!! -

Rafa's tactics were negative to say the least. to play 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1 away, what do you say?
Kewell is running like a headless chicken, left, right and centre, and crouch all alone up front with no support, marshalled by the likes of terry.
If Rafa knew he gonna lose to chelsea anyway, at least play attacking soccer, like 2 strikers for a start. a point isnt useful to Liverpool really. When I saw the lineup, I knew Liverpool didnt really want to win the game, maybe play for a draw. Look at the lineup, then you will know. His choices of players are baffling, what with Warnock playing at left back. He should be playing for teams like Sunderland, Reading or Palace, not good enough for Premiership.
Its ok to lose as long as play good football and try to win the game from the outset. -

You guys remember Gerrard's last min goal saving tackle on Robben?
Even though his team was trailing 2-0 with seconds left to play,Gerrard still gave it his all and launched himself into the challenge to prevent a 3-0 scoreline.
That is Commitment with the capital C and Professionalism with the capital P.
Football need more of such players rather than those money grubbing whiners.

Actually, Ah Ben have offloaded most of the GH henchmens
except for Gerrard, Carragher, Dudek, Finnan, Hamann, Riise, Sinama, Cisse, Le Tallec, Kewell, Mellor, Kirkland, Diao, Hyypia.
Sinama, Mellor, Le Tallec, Kirkland and Diao are all loaned out.
GH Henchmen: Murphy, Biscan, Baros, Simcer, Cheyrou. Diouf, Heskey, Owen.
So, Ah Ben have discarded some of cream players that can score GOALS.
Diouf, Heskey and Diao are the only GH's flop.
Murphy is always a jinx to Man Utd.
He have loaned all the in-form strikers - Sinama, Mellor, Le Tallec.
and kept the no-form strikers - Cisse, Nando.
He is only lucky that he did not kick out Dudek in time at the transfer window.
Or else we have more headache for the next three weeks.
Therefore, Ah Ben can be the hero or the biggest sinner at the end of Feb if Liverpool leaves FA Cup and CL Championship.
I have no confidence for Liverpool in beating Man Utd at Anfield if Ah Ben sticks to his lousy striker and his defensive formation. -

Crouch cannot be lone striker. He is a supporting striker...usually he pulls the defender away for the other striker to be free...

it's pretty obvious Benitez deployed a more control concept to this game .
He deployed a 5 men midfield said it all .
And using Crouch alone upfront was the sacrifice .
The main tactic he wanted to use but not working , was to capitalise on all dead balls and corners , mind you , we almost got a couple of goals if Crouch and party grapped all opportunites .
His instruction is fairly clear to his midfielders , Crouch will assist them , they will get the goals , not Crouch alone .
All is not end , the way we play , s*u*c*k*s at times , all because the goals isn't coming , the goals will come , and the display has to be there at that level , which ironically was not there last season , which is here this season , just lacking in those finishing touch .
Our team obviously lack a last player , that last influential player . -

i mean liverpool should at least have a better formation like a 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2 though defence is important offence is more important
