Can Liverpool do what they did last season first-half at Anfield? Arsenal had no shots at goal and no corners though they scored with the first chance with Vieira.
But Neil Mellor won for 'Pool in the end with a cracking shot that caused Houllier to went bonkers.

Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue have reported back to Arsenal following their African Nations Cup duty.
Both players are available for selection for the Premier League fixture at Anfield on Tuesday evening (8pm).
Arsenal will be without Jose Antonio Reyes (leg), Robin van Persie (toe) and Dennis Bergkamp (calf).
Sol Campbell (ankle), Pascal Cygan (hamstring), Ashley Cole (thigh), Gael Clichy (foot), Lauren (knee) and Theo Walcott (shoulder) are all receiving treatment ahead of the match -
Arsenal striker Jose Reyes has been ruled out of Tuesday's Premiership clash against Liverpool due to the injury he sustained at the weekend.
The Spaniard was stretchered off against Bolton on Saturday after a challenge with Abdoulaye Faye.
Initially there were fears that the player had broken his leg bust x-rays have revealed that he has only sustained bruising.
Reyes said: "Luckily it's bruised but it could have been worse. I am grateful I haven't broken anything.
"My foot is swollen and it really hurts, but at least my ankle is not broken.
"It's going to be treated as a bad knock and I will do everything possible to be ready for the game against Real Madrid.
"I wouldn't miss that game for anything in the world." -

First half 0-0 ....Gerrard missed a penalty , what's going on ? can't they just give the ball to Fowler , and if Fowler scores from the spot , the house will definitely be torn down .

arsenal not that they were bad,but i think they came with the wrong mentality..to hold out for a point..unwilling to attack means they invite pool to attack,but their defence sucks.. -
Liverpool surprisingly played with more purpose and hunger.
That is missing for the past few matches.
Maybe Hyypia is right - Victory is the BEST cure for match fatigue.
Steven Gerrard was every where - Left, Right & Middle.
He have given 150% turbo power to Liverpool.
Too bad the strikers are bo bo.
But, Nando does need more matches to get back to his sharpness,
As for Ah Ben, injury have once again helped him to play the right piece for vcitory.
Now, for Man Utd, it will be a harder match. -
We played ok ?
We played a typical controlling style of play , but our end stuff , s*cks !
Some might have said , we could have 4-0 or 5-0 .....only if la ....
If we could have buried them off with that penalty , think that Garcia's goal would have never arrive .
Alex GaGason , who was there last night , would be GaGaGaGa... laughing at our strikers all the way home last night , especially Nando ..... he did missed a few sitters , I'm gutted at those misses . Header went wide la ...... miscue la ..... slips at the last moment la ....
Only consolation for me ...... Robbie Fowler getting back to his full fitness , first we had Robbie playing 15 minutes for the first few matches since re-joining us, then 30 minutes , last night he played 65 minutes , soon we'll see him replacing Nando and Cisse in the first team sheet .
Well ...... a need a speedy forward ...... just another speedy forward like Owen . -
