the hardest to play with at the end of the season are those fighting for ucl spots and safety..

Please kindly remember that Liverpool will be playing Champion League and FA Cup towards the end of the season.
So, Fatigue will set in even if they are playing easy opponents for the last 5 matchs.
Man Utd will have it hard for the last 5 matches as they are the PHYSICAL sagging team.
But, Man Utd is not in Champion League or FA Cup.
Therefore, Liverpool is tougher and more tired with more matches. (Not forgetting a very thin squad.) -

Like I said earlier, the 2nd place will probably be decided when Chelsea plays ManU.
Want Chelsea to beat ManU?
After last night's loss to Boro, better hope it is just one of the off nights. Better still, a start of the long awaited slide........ but I don't think so. Championship wrapped up by Chelsea despite this loss. Just being objective. -

Finally a forum where people actually discuss about Liverpool!
I posted the following at the channelnewsasia forums some time ago but nobody was interested to discuss at all!
Liverpool are already guaranteed 3rd place, I had been thinking it might be worth a thought to actually let some of the youngsters have a game or two in the EPL.
Players like Jack Hobbs, Paul Anderson, Miki Roque, Antwi Godwin and Antonio Barragan or even Ramon Calliste should be given a chance and see how they fare.
As it is it's quite unlikely that ManU will finish third now.
If ManU do indeed defeat Middlesborough, I think Rafa should let the youngsters have a chance.
Anyway here are the fixture dates :
Chelsea vs ManU Sat April 29th
ManU vs Middlesborough Mon May 1st
ManU vs Charlton Sun May 7th
West Ham vs Liverpool Wed April 26th (Liverpool won 2-1)
Liverpool vs Aston Villa Sat April 29th
Portsmouth vs Liverpool Sun May 7th
I'm thinking Rafa will play his first team for the game against West Ham. And also the first team against Aston Villa when ManU are playing Chelsea.
So maybe the youngsters can get a shout with the Portsmouth game? (should results mean that 2nd is impossible) Of course if LFC lose to West Ham then maybe the young ones get a chance for the Aston Villa game as well.
The other point to consider is to let the youngsters play and rest the senior players. It has been a long season. And with the World Cup coming, they need to be protected cos we dun want injuries in the World Cup!
Also resting the players means a fresh team for the FA Cup finals!
What do you guys think?
