I don't think that carling cup is that useless considering the fact that man utd put up a full first team in the finals and it is a sliverware

Wigan didn't turn up. But Man U has always been good at playing against "average" teams, which is what Liverpool's still lacking.

My Gunners chose to back off from this cup by losing to Wigan, which we felt it was pointless playing wif man u and we have to deal wif major competitions like UCL. u see... we have more matches to play. -
