My Gunners chose to back off from this cup by losing to Wigan, which we felt it was pointless playing wif man u and we have to deal wif major competitions like UCL. u see... we have more matches to play.

since LFC don't care @ all about the worthless competition they would have put up "B" team during the 1st round and get knocked out
