Benfica star Geovanni is set to return to action against Liverpool next week after regaining full fitness.
Hope he don't pose too much problem to our defense . -

Latest Hyypia injury update
The results of the scan on Sami Hyypia's hamstring show that the player is not seriously injured.
This means that the centre-back should be able to train with the rest of the lads this week ahead of the Benfica clash on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Liverpool FC said: "The scan did not show up anything serious and Sami will be fit to train with the rest of the squad on Tuesday."
Sami was taken off at half-time yesterday because of the problem but thankfully he should be back in action very soon. -
At least our backlines are stable....it's all up to the front men now! No excuses if they fail this hurdle....but am quietly confident!

Really depends on how much width we would be able to get.. and the crosses we will be able to get in for the strikers, which was sadly few and far against Charlton with Cisse's nearly every crosses getting blocked..

The problem with Cisse on the right wing is that he's a one-trick pony.
He only know how to drag the ball to his right and cross. Observe him long enough and you'll see him doing only that. He doesn't know how to drag the ball left, do a pass-back to the running midfielder coming near the box, he only knows to run to the byline and cross.
I'm starting to wonder how he got top-scorer while in France? How did he get his service?

We were made to believe his our next big star when GH bot him for mega-bucks few yrs back and after few attempts. H/r, wat we see on the pitch is not quite convincing. While he doesn't lack the speed, he simply doesn't have the skills. And if u observe carefully, he's usually on a different freq'cy fm other team-mates
I believe Rafa has seen enuff of him....I'll be surprise to see him around comes nxt season. -
