Gunners gritted on to defend well, looked pretty good on the counter
But well, the near-misses, and talk about an almost-certain goal 'cos Casillas went forward to help in a corner on the 89th minute. Too bad, Carlos raced back in time to stop it off the line
Still, at least I'm relieved that the Gunners went in instead

you guys should have watched that near open goal by pires.
around 89 mins,Real managed to win a corner kick,thinking it was their last chance,Casillas ran out all the way to help out in attacking,hehe as it happens,after the corner was taken,it somehow land with a arsenal player and a quick pass to pires who then ran and made a shot at goal around the half way line.Casillas was still in Arsenal's half at this time.
Roberto carlos was the savior,sprinted the hell back from the arsenal half and somehow was quick enough to stop the ball as it was just rolling into the net.Just a miss of about 20 cm and Arsenal would have a goal. -
And this match is pretty exciting thou it ended in a draw,It was attacking stuff from both side from the word go.Arsenal did not came out and try to defence their 1-0 lead as some think they would.Real started better and for the first 10 mins or so,it was all Real attacking but after that Arsenal sprang into action and they were the better side from then until the end of the match with lots of end to end stuff.Lots of opportunity to see a goal,but still ended up goaless.Reyes missed an almost open goal and hit the crossbar.Raul also hit the crossbar in another effort.

Robinho and Baptista are stupid to join the falling giant. They should have joined their compatriot Gilberto at Arsenal earlier this season... -

hope they can win the champions league so that they can appeal to join the next season's champions leaue if they dont get their 4th placing. maybe it tells us how hard it is to win the treble even for teams like barca n chelsea. maybe we can set a new record for back to back winners from the same country

well arsenal do not even have to win the CL to be considered successful, considering that they have never ever went pass the quarter final stage.If they can now get to the semi or the final itself with this present deficit team on the rebuilt,it is considered a victory for them le.

even if they drew the so called weakest team, they stil may not get through... look at pool... drew benfica... every1 thought they would go through easily.... but guess wat.... it was benfica who got through...
