Liverpool have today been linked with a possible move for Blackburn Rovers striker Craig Bellamy
With Rafaeal Benitez set to offload both Fernando Morientes (6 goals) and Djibril Cisse (12 goals) in the summer, speculation is obviously rife as to who he'll try to bring in.
Dirk Kuyt (19 goals) and Jermaine Defoe (8 goals) are high up the list, so too is Valencia's David Villa (17 goals).
Michael Owen (7 goals) is desperate for a return to Anfield and Crystal Palace's Andy Johnson (13 goals) continues to be linked.
It is suggested today by the British press that Rafa could offer Blackburn Florent Sinama-Pongolle plus cash for Bellamy but with Flo having only scored one goal for Mark Hughes so far, you wouldn't imagine him to be that interested. Bellamy though would jump at the chance to become a Red. -

Ah Ben have to change his lazy midfield tactics of pumping all the balls to the 6 yard box.
He need to give his strikers some target practise.
Get them to overcome their own defenders.
It will benefit both defenders and strikers.
Or else buying another strikers with the same plot would not solve the problems.
The strikers seem to be rusty in front of goal.
It needs practice to be more alert. -

LFC is almost like 85% flank play and 15% Central Play
Man City Is 65% Flank play 35% Central Play
you must play more direct sometimes instead of pumping the ball in and hoping the strikers can get something out of it even though it is not a clear cut chance.................while Central Play will give strikers more clear cut chances to goal and have better chances of scoring........ -
If Ah Ben is insistent of playing his 4-5-1 formation, I suggested he get Ruud from Man Utd from Alex.
It is better than Mickey who needs a strike partner and is injury-prone.
Ruud is out of favour from Alex.
Since Alex and Rafa are good friends, just sell the striker to Liverpool.

nah bellamy would not go liverpool. the reason he sign for blackbur last time was cos of mark huges. now blackburn are on the road to european, i dun see any reason he leae liverpool.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is stepping up his pursuit of Liverpool striker Jermain Defoe.
After committing himself to the Reds last week, Benitez has discussed Defoe's signing with the board and is ready to offer £10 million to Spurs at the end of this season.
Defoe is frustrated over his situation at White Hart Lane and has been told by Sven Goran Eriksson he risks missing the World Cup over his lack of first team action. -
Looks like Ah Ben have learned his lesson in procuring the right striker to score goals in the EPL.
Have to get a proven EPL striker, not some spanish, Division 1, French unproven strikers.
EPL games can be too physical to the liking to the spanish silky players.
Liverpool seriously need a fast striker to score.
Cisse used to do that but have forgottent to do so due to insufficient match practise. -
Newspaper reports today claim that Liverpool are prepared to offer up to £9million in the summer for striker Jermaine Defoe.
Manager Rafael Benitez tried to sign the 23-year-old during the January transfer window but Spurs rejected our late advances.
Initial reports had stated that Liverpool would try and Bag Defoe for around £11million but the latest claims suggest that Spurs will sell for £9million with Reds chief executive Rick Parry tipped to start negotiations with a cheeky £7million offer.
Meanwhile the same journalists behind the Defoe speculation also state that Rafa will try and sign Spurs centre-back Michael Dawson.
It's not the first time that Dawson has been linked with us as Gerard Houllier also tried to sign him.
The KopTalk editor is close to the Dawson family and that's why we have always maintained that the player would be keen on a switch to Anfield.
Reports claim that Rafa will offer £8million for Dawson in the summer. -

Cisse's agent Ranko Stojic told The Sun: "Tottenham should be in touch again this summer and Djibril is very interested.
"Spurs are a club on the way up which can offer him more time on the pitch.
"A departure is very probable but Djibril has a very good relationship with the Liverpool fans.
"He gets on well with everyone and doesn't want to put everything in question by asking to leave now.
"The situation will sort itself out at the end of the season and I don't think the club will oppose his leaving if they can get £8million. Liverpool will need to sell in order to buy this summer."
Cisse, 24, joined from Auxerre for £14m nearly two years ago.
He scored from the penalty spot against Newcastle on Sunday - but that was only his sixth full match under boss Rafa Benitez.
Stojic added: "We know Tottenham are very interested. They got in touch with us on January 31 at 3pm. That was only a few hours before the market closed and we did not want to do business."
