Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has been ruled out for the rest of the season after being struck down by another injury.
Sicknote broke his index finger during training yesterday and will be out of action for at least six weeks. He won't be returning to Anfield.
Kirkland said: "As soon as it happened I knew I'd broken my finger. I'm not going to be a part of the last few games which is very upsetting.
"I've been told by Liverpool they are going to sell me in the summer so this injury has come at a pretty bad time.
"What I will say is that whoever takes a chance on me in the summer will see how hard I work and how much I want to play.
"It all depends who comes in for me now and hopefully West Brom will be one of those teams.
"I've just got to assess all the options open to me and take it from there.
"I've really enjoyed my time at Albion and driving away today is going to be quite hard. I've felt like I've been here for years."

feel sorry for him ... he didn't really get a chance and when he did get a chance he got injured ... maybe his career lies somewhere else ... good luck to him ...

Kirkland did a commendable job when given the chance. He's still young for a goalkeeper and the future still bright for him. Often keepers are more 'Zai when they reach late 20s.
