That Pay-per-View of World Cup matches ?
Ok .... now , our existing Sports Group only give you 8 matches , and don't know which selected matches .
If you want to watch all 64 matches , u need to subscribe or Pay-Per-View ....... at a "low-cost" or "early-bird" package of $10.50 , for the whole period of World Cup .
I remember last year when they implemented a raise in Sports Group , it was all because of the coming World Cup , and now what ?
Felt like cheated !
I called to subscribe , and since i've called , i must well complaint ... and u know what ? They explaint to me that previous raise was alright they admitted , due to world Cup , and they did present you with some matches , not all ! That is 8 matches !
But nevermind la , how sick i felt about the raise i also bo-pian lan lan subscribe , anyway only $10.50 , but can you imagine , the amount of money they generated from the whole of Singapore ? Simply con man !
Anyhow , for football lovers like me , since you are to subscribe thru the 1633 hotline , u must well , like me , give them a big kick on their a*s .
Make sure they know what's hard earn money . -

Channel 5 may telecast World Cup, like 2002. If they are not going to, tune in to TV1.

What to do? When you have only one TELCO controlling everything...
Raise $10, $20 , people will still pay. Why? because its the WORLD CUP. Everyone football fan will want to watch it. So Starhub might as well raise the fees...
I doubt CH 5 will have the rights to show the round robin matches. If they do, then I don't see the point of Starhub raising the fees.
TV1 seems like a good idea. Another will be to watch at your friendly kopitiams, though having to do so at such odd hrs in the morning can be a chore.
Let's just put our hands together and wish for another Cable TV provider to disrupt the current monopoly. -

football matches are getting boring these days. so many teams n euro countries choose defensive tactics. it's a sore to watch a 0-0 score while u stay in late night.
