Liverpool confirmed 3rd , no chance for second ...... and what will i do if I'm Ah Ben ? Play most my reserve players ..... player like Traore in the centre of defense alongside Aggar if possible , rest my 2 very important players of Carra and Hyypia .
Left back Warnock will come in for Riise .
Dudek will in goal .
Right back Kromkamp will play .
In midfield , I'll play Momo and Gerrard , and Alonso to replace Gerrard for half time .
Time to play Cisse for 90 minutes . Alongside Nando , as Crouch could be injured .
Kewell and Garcia could be rested , as both has a tough game against Chelsea .
You all see la , better don't bet a win on Pool . -
Sorry, Poolman, I have to disagree with you.
Mathematically, Liverpool still can catch up with Man U. As long as it's possible, they will definitely try. Liverpool have always put out their best possible team for every match. This is to respect their paying fans who come to watch them play. They're not some "no PR team". They play for their fans all over the world. -
liverpool must win all the remaining matches. plus man u must lose all the remaining matches as well...

I made this conclusion cos that day I saw Rick Parry and Benitez had concluded our " successful " season which we got the third so early of the season . From KopTalk News : Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is considering who to rest for tomorrow's game against West Ham United.
Kop idol Robbie Fowler is available for selection again after sitting out the Chelsea match so he'll be hoping to figure. So too will the likes of Didi Hamann.
Speaking today Rafa said: "We know the game tomorrow is not going to be the same as the one in Cardiff.
"I will decide today whether to rest players. I must see how the players are, but it will be an idea to give some players a rest.
"We have to be careful."
I think i got it right 'bout this Benitez's mentallity towards this match . He will rest some , maybe most of his important players . -
i'll be happy with a win ... probably the likes of fowler, cisse, didi, warnock, agger, kromkamp will start ... maybe even the dude ...

Cisse is hitting form although two missess last match.
Fowler is always on-form.
Good for a Liverpool victory and help Ah Ben in the coming team selection. -
Some thoughts on the West Ham match.
1) Benitez played a mainly 2nd string team and they still beat West Ham 2-1 at Upton Park! That says something doesn't it? Liverpool have now won their last 9 games and scored 26 goals and conceded 5.
2) Reina is rested and there's no clean sheet for the match. Granted the defence is not the usual back four either. I'm sure if it was Reina and the usual quartet of Riise, Hyypia, Carragher and Finnan it would have been a clean sheet for this match.
3) Cisse scored 2 goals! It seems more and more obvious that Cisse only scores against the weaker teams in the EPL. The question however is whether he has a place on the team? I still think it's likely Cisse will be sold if a buyer willing to pay the right price comes along. But there is also a strong chance that the Liverpool strike force would remain the same for next season.
4) The chance to go 2nd is kept alive. I'll actually be quite happy with whatever scoreline for ManU vs Chelsea this weekend. I would ideally like Chelsea to take 3 points meaning Liverpool cuts the gap between themselves and ManU to just 3 points each playing 36 games. And if Liverpool beats Villa on Saturday, they'll be 2nd! (although ManU will have a game in hand). Then it's all up to Middlesborough to pull something off.
Anyway let's see what happens this weekend. I would also be happy to see Mourinho have the stuffing knocked out of him and moan again -

Liverpool have two more games to play and the striker crisis is not really resolved.
So, I am pretty certain that Ah Ben will NOT be keeping Fowler to become Liverpool top scorers for the next season. -
I believe Fowler will be offered a 1 yr deal, pending on his performance during pre season training.
There is no doubting Robbies' finishing abilities. It's fitness that Rafa is concerned abt. That's why I think Rafa won't offer another contract till preseason where he will assess Robbie's fitness levels..and Robbie being the determined KOP spirit, will impress and p ut pen to paper a 1 yr deal. -
