My verdict to this match - God Gift !
First , Gunners' defense is awesome last night , and although at times kalang kabok , but they did their best , bite their teeth and hang on !
Second , that penalty is not a penalty ! Of all people , Riquelme missed that penalty ! If not God's gift , what is ?
Lastly , that referee a crap la , how can he give that penalty ? Nevermind , God gave Arsenal's French " contingent " a chance to shine at Paris !
A fair result , a fairytale finish , and dramatic Road To Paris !

In the final.... Barce will lead 3-0 in first half then Arsenal comes back to draw level at 3-3. Lehmann saved a last minute shot by Ronaldino in extra time and the game goes into penalty shoot out.
both team converted their first 4 kick. Henry put the Gunners ahead at 5-4 on penalty. Ronaldino's last kick of the ball was save by Lehmann yet again.
Gunners are the Champion!!
Henry said "How can I leave after a night like this"
and Henry signs a new 4 year contract with the Gunners the next week. -

I do congratulate Arsenal for their victory.
But seriously, I do hope Barca can get into the finals because Ronaldinho and Eto definitely have the ability to prise Arsenal open. Beside, I dun see Ronaldinho taking it easy if Arsenal will take the lead. It will be a most cracking game. He's a player from another dimension.
Hopefully, Barca can win the Champs League and all of Arsenal's hard work will be for naught. Then, Henry will leave Arsenal.
After all, I'm a Liverpool fan, not an Arsenal fan. Henry leaving Arsenal will be for the good of Liverpool. -
Congrats to Arsenal for making it to the finals! I'm always happy to see an English team in the finals of any European competition. Hopefully Barca can make it too and justify my decision to take leave to watch the finals!

I think Arsenal is very very lucky. That franco left his scoring boots at home. Forlan thought he was in Man utd again. And why was flamni taken off? Campbell protested by squatting in the penalty area. Henry.. i wonder why wasnt he taken off. Eboue runs like an ox but he always cannot pass properly or shoot properly. Reyes and helb dunno play wad todae. The whole team seems to anihow pass here and there. Ljungberg is getting too personal with the rival team. Luckily we got our goalkeeper to thank for. I predicted a draw game but i too hum to buy coz i always lose when i bet. Imagine i bet last nite. 88min penalty... Si liao....

Arsenal need to improve their passing and creativity. If they play the same as last nite against Milan, maybe can nick a win. If they do that against Barca, can forget it liao

impossible ars will nick it against milan or barca..
barca is an attacking minded game plan..if ars also play an attacking game..then we can see a v high scoring game..maybe 3-1 to barca,.
aginst milan is a dff scenario...if ars were to play an attacking game..most probaby mil il be caught off guard..since tonight's game is at nou camp..we can see a few yellow or even reds being flung at both team..
if gatuso or kaka were to miss the final...title goes to ars~!

Luck is of course important but in the 1999 UCL finals between Bayern and Man Utd, Man Utd was the better team at the later stages of the game and it was not surprising it that they nicked two late goals.
