David Beckham for Liverpool? Anyone?

We all know that LFC's problem position is right midfield.
Gerrard and Garcia have deputised there but it's clearly not their best positions.
So i was just wondering, with the board room unrest at Madrid, and all the instability surrounding Beckham's future..won't it be brilliant if LFC signs Beckham?
Im sure Becks would welcome the idea of returning to England. Paul Ince has done it b4, why not becks?
For the player, he gets to play champions league football with a top side, do his bid and help LFC challenge for the title.He gets another chance at proving SAF wrong for letting him go.
For the club, they possibly will get the English captain on a cheap. Someone proven and with the experience. Someone with immense marketing value. Most importantly, someone who can possibly solve the problem right mid position.

the fans probaly won't like it..
there're certain moves that just can't happen..but many also feel that beckham has passed his peak liao.. -
I can understand the fans..but Ince has done it, so I dont see why Becks can't.
Becks may be past his peak, but I think having an off peak Becks is probably better than some of the other options.
Main thing for me is that if they can seal the deal cheap. I don't see why not. -

Actually, It would be a good idea to bring THIS GUY to Anfield and make him score against his old flame, Alex.
The Liverpool free kick department is still vacant.
So, if he is not that hot in Spain, he can come back any time.
He can share hair spray with Cisse. -

Unlike Paul Ince who was originally from West Ham, Beckham is still Man Utd through and through and will be unlikely to head to Liverpool. Chelsea or Spurs will be the few English clubs that he may consider.

It may not benefit Liverpool now as currently Gerald is the captain of Anfield, while Beckham is the captain of England.
Then who should be the overall captain then?
Beck is still at his peak, the wages may be an issue. -

Becks is a Devil through and through , no way his foes in that Devil's camp allowed him to go to Anfield , just asked Gary Neville , and u know , Neville and Beckham are good friends .
Whether or not he has past his peak , or contribution ....... Liverpool certainly not a home for him , if he ever come back to England , Man Utd will be his home , that maybe will happen only after Alex Ferguson retire .
Just like Fowler , after Houllier went , he just wanted to come back .
Once Ferguson go , he might want to come back .
He's a London boy , and I wouldn't be surprised he signed up at Arsenal , but i'll be more surprised if he end up at Anfield . -

Beckham is not young anymore. Plus I doubt Real would ever sell him. The recent reports that Real Madrid is the club with the top earnings in the world is largely due to the deal that Real have with David Beckham. 50% of all his endorsements/advertisements go to Real Madrid!
He's essentially a cash cow. Real will sell him for a substantial price. And thus Liverpool would never pay such money for a 30 year old!
Of course, if he came on a free transfer.....well I would not object to such a deal. -
yea...simao young too...about 26 yrs old...will be great addition to liverpool side...but not much would his style fit in anot...
plus he will not come cheap at all...especially after the world cup...all players playing in the world cup will have an increase in price after world cup...
