look where is middlesbrough lying in the epl table...Originally posted by Poolman:Steve Mclaren ?
I wouldn't say no , and he will defintely get my vote if there is a poll .
He's the Best Englishman at the present moment .
His CV ? Good resume ...... Asst . Mgr at Derby county , Asst . Mgr to Alex Fergie , Manager of Boro , and jagger between Boro and The National team at the same time . Good job .
The best thing he possessed , he can continue what SG Ericcsson had done over the years , and at the very same time , The media will stop cursing The FA , and of course the English fans will be happy .
3-in-1 Combo .
Lastly , he deserved to be recognised as the best englishman for the job after seeing what he had delivered at Derby , MU and Boro .
Maclaren for me , Renault next , then Ferrari !
den england will be the titan defence team.Originally posted by Nelstar:England should consider Otto Rehhagel.
That guy won greece Euro Cup..
He won against Scolari's Portugal. Don't play play!
That is why the english coaches deserve a chance to have a go. If they are not given a chance now , then when ? I feel that some of the english managers should manage other teams in different leagues to have different exposure. Anyway, Steve McClaren's Boro may be struggling in the league but look at the good things he done for Boro and the respect he gets from the team.Originally posted by stellazio:well might not guarantee but i'm sure there might be a higher chance eh..what makes u think the players really respect allardyce and mcclaren?they haven't been as invovled in the top competitions as the proven managers..
records speaks for itself..
and like i said, if there really was a outstanding englishman with a proven track record they wouldn't have been in this problem..obviously the decision to dilly dally and even offer scolari first obviously shows that the english fa has a lack of faith in their own countrymen's ability..
respects he gets from the team?in case u didn't know, it was southgate and hasselbank who stood up and blasted the whole team in the dressing room to wake up their damn ideas..Originally posted by K800i:That is why the english coaches deserve a chance to have a go.
