Liverpool or Pool ?

  I find it an insult for football fans calling Liverpool as pool. An absolute insult to the club. Is it really so difficult to spell out the full name , Liverpool ? What is pool ? What the hell is that?

  seldom call them Red nowaday since Red can be referred to Man u also. read somewhere pple calling red devil 'red' so paper decided to call pool as liverpool lor.

  every winning club does have a nick , intentionally to piss the fans off , Chelsea also known as Chelski nowadays , Arsenal's Gunner also known as Gooners , Man Utd is known as Manures for a long time , so ..... relax , no worries !

  So many of these club's are being referred by their short form everywhere.

  I'm a die hard Liverpool fan but i see no issue using Pool to call the team..
  
  I use that myself at times.. its some short n easy to use.. just like some nick or wot.. eg. stevie G for gerrard..

  think too much maybe he tot that pool is sort of related to singaporepools so he tot that it is an insult to be related to a betting/gambling company
