Manu's Lee Martin sold to Birmingham
Liverpool's Hammil and Anderson not getting 1st team action
What the hell is limiting these talents from getting experience
The only one I see capable of breaking into the England Set-up is steven taylor -
theo walcott, aaron lennon, james milner, etc

problem is some are not real talent also go to EPL and take the places of the locals.....just like Singapore

Last time , young talents can make money ........ not now ! Now UCL can make lots of money , that's why clubs like Liverpool would prefer to invest those resources into better , cheaper oversea players , who can bring Liverpool into UCL year-in year-out . Meaning more revenue for the club .
Blame it on the Bosman ruling .
Club tends to be on the losing end if that particular young player who prefers not to renew his current contract , and clubs usually lose quite an amount of money invested on them . Example is Michael Owen , Steve Mcnamanan and Robbie Fowler , after grooming them , they took Liverpool on ransom for not renewing the contract offered to them .

Most of them can perform on homesoil if Champion league they tend to fade away expect ronney who score tons of goals remeber the debut for man u in the champions league he score a hattrick!!! That is what i call talent

Due to regulations in England, clubs can only pick local players within a certain radius of their home stadium. This was originally intended so that weak clubs still can get some good players without them being poached away by the big clubs.
But because of this, homegrown talents are getting rare since the good ones hardly get recognised by other clubs. And also, it is cheaper to scout aboard and get the best all around the world. -
clubs hire scouts, but sent them around the world. they overlook their own country..
