What bullsh|t...Originally posted by ghimpheng:because liverpool match usually the side are quite honest even in strength and liverpool not sure win that why they got telecast
those teams that are almost 70% assure victory are not telecast because it is boring to watch one team dominating the other
just joking relaxOriginally posted by gatekeeper:What bullsh|t...

So you saying Liverpool has got the most support in Asia , than MU and Chelsea ? That's why ESPN are doing so ?Originally posted by weiqimun:the 7.45pm matches are designed for Asia viewers. Espn-starsports paid a bomb for the rights are money talks. prior to that, nothing of ths sorts. Asia is now EPL's biggest market outside of UK. China and India are the 2 biggest markets that is salivating the english f.a.
liverpool starred in most of the matches is partly becos it is probably the most widely supported team in asia. this timing makes broad sense for the asian viewer. i dare say the timing will also work for the aussies (2.5hrs behind if u r not from the most isolated city in the world )
i actually dislike the afternoon kick-off. this money tv influence that is dictating things is clearly not doing the right thing for the players or the game. the timing dun even work for me...typically i got something on and the 10pm kick-off suits me better.
skysports is already dictating what's the kickoff time and all that...the players even have to wait for skysports to fix their techincal prob before they can kick off if there was a prob before kick off. this i found out during aston villa vs scunthorpe matchOriginally posted by weiqimun:i said probably, with high probability...i hope u r not trying to provoke something....
in the end, tv is abt rating. if u get sponsors like apb, toshiba and toyota paying top notch $ for the sponsorship, espn better show the matches which the asian viewers wanted to watch, so matches involving last yr's big 4 will always be a big draw, and matches invlving liverpool too will draw e viewers. in asia, the number of official liverpool fan clubs is enuf to tell tt which club is most widely supported. liverpool is huge down under, in SEA, ctries lk malaysia and thailand are unashamedly reds supporter, and the red tide spread far and beyond.
in the usa, tv stations dictates what's shown on tv and which team plays who on certain days, like weekends or special hols. it's no coincidence. UK is waking up to this fact. maximising rev is the way to sustanence.
i cld be wrong. maybe it's just the luck of the draw.....
its not just scv la. the epl boardcasting rights know's that pool and man utd got the most supporters around the world. naturally they'll try to show 95% of their matches. and since there is a big 4 now, one of them has to go to the earlier timeslot.Originally posted by 798:in sg there are alot of liverpool fans.
