Nine other Premiership stars made the 30-man shortlist announced by world footballÂ’s governing body today.
International managers and captains will now cast their votes before the ceremony in Zurich on December 18.
Last yearÂ’s award went to Ronaldinho, with Lampard second and Gerrard seventh.
