i dun think gerrard will go. he's the pool captain. what he wants is epl glory, and by going to any of the other big clubs to try for epl glory he'll be branded as a traitor by his beloved pool..

many can replace benitez like del bosque for example but gerrard cannot be replaced. the commitment and the desire he shows in every game is extraodinary.
who knows if they replace benitez with houllier

Everytime the team hits a bad patch, he has got this "I want to leave for a better club so that I can win more trophies" attitude.
CB, he thinks everyday Sunday and that only he is entitled to win championships.
If you look closely at all the players in the world, I think he is the only one who keeps whining (ok, maybe whining is too strong a word ) about not having won a League championship or whatever Cup not in his trophy room and keeps threatening to leave for another club.
It's one thing to be ambitious and all but to think that he is God's supreme gift to soccer who deserves to win everything is really too much.
I give him credit that when he was in form, he did play well. But he never realised that when he sucked, he sucked real bad. -

gerrard is off form now.
he scored 23 goals last season. this season he has not scored any yet. -
both also wouldnt be leaving when you see pool win champion league then anyone wanted them to leave?

no player should be bigger than club, even gerrard too. but right now i feel benitez is the culprit for his rotation system dun work, i guess rafa's head will roll if he dun change his plan.

I would actually rather let go of Gerrard. While there is no doubt about his ability, no player is bigger than the club. What Liverpool needs is not one really good player, but a good team. I really think Rafa can do that for Liverpool with time. Maybe he needs some time to really understand the EPL, but there is no doubt of his ability as a manager. You can see from the youngsters he's acquiring from around the world that he is looking into the long term interest of Liverpool.
