Liverpool misfit Jan Kromkamp has accused his former team of being ugly.
Kromkamp, who found a home at PSV Eindhoven after being shown the exit door by Rafa Benitez, claims the Eredivisie side have the measure of their opposition ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash.
With The Reds' form having taken a downturn this season, Kromkamp claims the team's failings have been exposed.
Chief among them according to Kromkamp is Benitez's over-reliance on long balls to Peter Crouch.
"We know how to get at Liverpool. They have plenty of weaknesses," said Kromkamp.
"They often revert to kicking long ugly balls up to Peter Crouch.
"The manager's tactics change as soon as you frustrate his players and that is what we will be aiming to do on Wednesday.
"They have weaknesses in several places, especially in the gap between defence and midfield, and also at centre back.
"In one-on-ones, the two in the middle of defence are very good, but they cannot contribute to Liverpool's build up play. So we will focus on that.
"If you block them from deep they soon lose their rhythm and start playing those long balls up to Crouch." -

yeah i tink so too tat Pool will win it..
firstly, so as to have a better head to head record in the table against PSV incase both ended up same pts n GD at the end of 6 matches being played.
(as both sides GB only difference by 1 only)
secondly, Pool gona have 3 straight home games n i believe they gona fully treasure it n win all so as to gain their form back as Xmas is round the corner.
lastly, with Jan Kromkamp openly saying -vs tinks(which i somehw tink he's true,haha) abt RB tactics..uhmmm im sure RB will prove him wrong as there's a saying say "the older the ginger is the more power it is"..haa im referring RB as the ginger here..

REDS SUFFER DOUBLE FIRST HALF INJURY BLOW

There are no goals to report at the half-way point of Liverpool's Champions League clash with PSV but the Reds have been dealt a double blow with Xabi Alonso and Mark Gonzalez both going off injured.
Alonso limped out of the action in the 21st minute after an earlier challenge with an Eindhoven midfielder, while Gonzalez was taken away on a stretcher 12 minutes before the break following a collision on the left wing.
During an opening 45 minutes that Liverpool have largely dominated
Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Steven Gerrard have gone closest to breaking the deadlock. -

saw the two goals ..... first goal , very good set-up , Dirt Kuyt holding the ball well , turned and lay the ball off for Stevie Gee , who was lurking behind him , SG found the right space and slot the ball neatly .
2nd goal was s bit scrappy , Garcia crossing from left , and found the far right kuyt , but kuyt head the back in , for Crocuh , using his height superiority , nodded the ball in .
Bad news ! Alonso in crutch ! -
it is a good thing pool won tis match n top of their group.
but i feel they should continue to perform well in epl instead.
