what did benitez told the boys ?

F-u-c-k man , we start to defend , the more we defend , the more panicking we were !
They should be playing like the first 15 minutes .
But i do believe , Benitez's instruction was for them to defend rentlessly , whatever it takes to prevent Barca from scoring .
Again , Bellamy was taken-out , and Pennant really chor-bo-lan leh ....

the boys were really exhausted after chasing the top team's speed and absolute passes. good game i would say but it's kinda like sat's man.u match where we had so many chances but missed it.
btw i didnt know today's game considers home away goals. am glad roma progressing to next round. and kinda upset that inter is out. i'm an italian fan in terms of international football.
my fav. totti did magic again. -

Pool's style of running almost got them in trouble... They were lucky Barce only scored towards the end so they didn't have to hold out for too long. I agree with one of the poster here that had the match went into ET, Pool could have been in trouble.
I thought they waste too much energy in that united match running for the full 90 mins... They tried to do that in this match as well that is why they did really well in the first half... But to play 2 matches in this fashion just 3 days apart was asking too much from the players... That could be the reason Barce scored in the second half when Pool players started to get tired and could no longer continue their good display in the first... by closing down the Barce players fast.
Ah Ben almost paid a price for trying to go for that united match... Anyway, great that Barce is now out. Hope Pool gets chelsea again in the next round and kick them out next like they did before...

despite dat liverpool lost again at home ground, the guys fought well and had many goals attempts. shame on the barca to come to anfield letting pool to gain this sort of embassassment.
all i can say liverpool not deserve to lose last night cos they keep attacking last night, should they are two goals down, it will be a cruel fate for them. -
similar to the previous (or other) matches, lots of shots but no goal to show for..
let's hope our luck or final touch improve in the upcoming matches
