i think villa will have a bigger chance to win if petrov's dropped and steve davis plays.
would like to see young at right wing since maloney's out and agbonbon up front with carew and luke moore on bench

Frankly speaking, I can't see Benitez improving the side's performance and consistency in the premiership. If he wants to go to Real Madrid or other clubs, we should not stop him. I am not asking for his sacking , definately not but we should not stop him if he decides to call it a day.
This 0-0 result against Aston Villa is mediocre. -

Arsenal were frustrated at Goodison Park with Arsene Wenger labelling the Toffees an 'anti-football' side...uhm...hold on. We'll wait till after the game for this. Earlier in the day Charlton beat Newcastle 2-0 at the Valley to keep their survival hopes alive and Aston Villa and Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw so eye-bleedingly boring that both sides should be banned from football.
i always like their headline. straight to the point.
if i have not watched the how they played tonight, i thought its a decent result.
third and fourth placing are of no difference as both require to play for qualifier next season. given that bolton is still quite some distance from liverpool, its the best time for benitez to try out the fringe players and save the best for champ league. -
decent result, disappointing approach. rafa was playing for a point.
with crouch out till apr, maybe we should give the youngsters and fringe players a run. -

petrov should have had a penalty......even so frustrated that o'neill still kept him on even though he was the worst player for villa....
first half was boring.....second half was better and we could've won if berger was more accurate,,,,, -
Liverpool is lucky to get one point out of this game.
I think Benitez is more concern with Champions League knowing that winning the title is impossible and 2nd place seems to be drifting away. Might as well try win another Champion League medal.
Hope we can sail pass and have a rematch with Chelsea in the semi or Valencia also not bad.

Last night some UCL hopeful teams all let go their league points for UCL ...
Valencia lost 0-2 at home , PSV got whacked 1-5 at home .... Bayern Munich also lost ..... -

Why did i say Benitez is a clever man ?
First he put UCL as a Priority now ....
2nd , Liverpool Top-4 are almost certain , question 3rd or 4th only ...
3rd , he knew Top-4 placing rival Arsenal will not beat Everton at Goodison .
A draw seemed a bad result , but come to think of it , he got the best all-in-one .
My feelings is : He is planning a all-wins at home til the end of the season , which is good enough .
