Craig Bellamy has flown to Holland with the rest of the Liverpool squad and is hopeful of being fit for tomorrow night's Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven.
The 27-year-old forward suffered ankle and rib injuries when playing for Wales against San Marino last Wednesday but is included in Liverpool's 19-man squad.
"I got a really hefty knock from the San Marino 'keeper last week in Cardiff," Bellamy said. "It still hurts now when I breath but I really hope I will be fit to play against PSV.
"This European run is so important to me. I really want to be involved in what is the best level I have played at during my career."
Steve Finnan and Sami Hyppia also return to the squad having been rested for Saturday's 4-1 victory over Arsenal. The suspended Mohamed Sissoko is the only notable absentee for the tie with the Eredivisie club who eliminated Arsenal in the last round.
PSV are regarded as a kind draw for Liverpool, with star-man Alex absent with a hamstring injury and their indifferent domestic form, but Rafa Benitez has warned his team against complacency from his side.
"Don't let anyone be fooled into thinking that PSV will not fight with everything they have got to get into the last four," Benitez said.
"We will not underestimate them. They beat Arsenal in the last round and they are top of their league. Whatever their supposed problems are with form or injuries, they will fight for this with everything they possess, have no fears about that.
"They will know how important the Champions League is and they will fight for everything, fight to win with all they have.
"They have some defensive problems, but you never know whether that can help you. Alex is an important player for them and they have some problems with [Ivory Coast striker Arouna] Kone too, but sometimes you can bring in players who do not usually play in the first team, and they do better than those they have replaced. That is also a danger."
