Mr Bryan Rickmond was the presentor that night ... out of sudden , the match was halted .
After that , it's all about Mr Richmond talking , and some video clips of Liverpool & Juventus .
The match eventually resume .... i can see from the Liverpool players faces , they just wanna go home .
I saw the liverpool players appealing to fans to stop fighting , nothing in vain , their lives also at stake , at risk . They were rushed to the dressing room .
There was no mood to play football , everyone , football is nothing that night . The lost lives ..... just sad .
There was no winner that night , football was a loser .
It was a penalty that finished the match 1-0 to Juventus .
And i always think .... that penalty was an intent to finish the match in 90 minutes , nothing more .
After that , Liverpool were banned from Europe for 5 seasons , 1o years i think . -

UEFA "RELIEF" AT FINAL LINE-UP
There was relief at UEFA after AC Milan's victory over Manchester United avoided an all-English Champions League final - and president Michel Platini is convinced the climax of the European season will pass off in Athens on May 23 without any crowd trouble.
The fact Liverpool and Milan met in the Champions League final only two seasons ago will help security preparations, while a potential flashpoint between rival sets of English fans has been avoided.
UEFA are also pleased Milan's victory means they are not faced with overwhelming dominance of Premier League sides in Europe's top club competition.
One senior UEFA executive said: "I think many of us at UEFA are relieved it is not a Liverpool v Manchester United final - not just from a security point of view but because this is meant to be a pan-European competition, and it is much better if it is not two clubs from the same country in the final.
"It should also make preparations that much easier - the logistics would be much more complicated with two clubs from the same country, and in security terms we are experienced in dealing with a Liverpool v AC Milan final."
Platini, who was elected UEFA president earlier this year, praised the players and fans of all four semi-finalists.
He told UEFA's official website: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank and praise the fans who have attended the semi-finals for creating such a wonderful atmosphere at the matches.
"They have contributed in a positive manner to making the semi-finals such an exciting spectacle.
"I am convinced that both Liverpool and Milan fans will contribute to making the Athens final a landmark in festive behaviour."
Platini said the prospect of a rematch between the 2005 finalists was mouth-watering.
He added: "They are two clubs who have won the trophy 11 times between them will meet for the second time in two years.
"On the last occasion in Istanbul in 2005, Liverpool and Milan produced a match that occupies a special place in European football history.
"I am sure that the two teams will be striving to make this year's final an equally memorable occasion at the splendid Athens Olympic Stadium."
UEFA chiefs admit they will not be able to satisfy fans' demand for tickets for - and that even a stadium seating a million people would sell out.
Liverpool and Milan will each receive more than 20,000 tickets for the final.
UEFA communications director William Gaillard said there will be a big fan park in the Greek capital which would cater for supporters without tickets.
He said: "We know that however many tickets we provide it would never be enough - we could probably sell out a stadium with a million seats!
"Our advice to fans is always not to travel without a ticket because we do not want them to be exploited by ticket touts, but of course people are free to travel if they wish.
"If they just want to savour the Athens experience then they can use the fan-park in downtown Athens."
He said UEFA were not expecting problems between the two sets of fans.
He added: "There is no history of hostility between the fans and it gives us an advantage that we have the experience of the two sets of fans in a final in similar circumstances two years ago."

Liverpool will wear their red home kit for the Champions League final against AC Milan on May 23.
Rafael Benitez's side had been named as the away team for the match in Athens but Milan have chosen to wear their all white strip.
That means the teams will be wearing the same colours as when they met in the 2005 final in Istanbul, when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down at half-time to win on penalties.
They really want revenge sia....

Liverpool had been selected as the away team for the clash in Athens but Milan have opted to wear their all white kit, leaving the Reds free to wear their preferred colours. -

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is backing AC Milan to beat Liverpool in the Champions League final.
Ferguson, who takes his Premiership champions to Chelsea tonight, said: "I'd bet for sure that Milan will win the Champions League, I'm absolutely certain of it.
"I told Carlo at the end of our semi-final that there is no way he can now not win this competition.
"Carlo gave me a magnificent bottle of wine.
"But I immediately told him there is no point in giving such a wonderful gift if he then fails in the final.
"In fact, I told him I would only drink his wine once I see him lifting the Champions Cup."

Liverpool are offering their players a cool £2.5 million bonus to win the Champions League.
Liverpool face AC Milan in Athens on May 23 knowing they are rated rank outsiders to repeat their Istanbul heroics of two years ago, when they won a penalty shoot-out after trailing 3-0 at half-time to be European champions for a fifth time.
Liverpool's board have offered the players a bonus well in excess of £100,000 per man to make it six.
Anyone who has played a part this season is eligible and manager Rafa Benitez's rotation policy means the total pot looks like being around £2.5m.
It is understood the incentive scheme was drawn up at the start of the season rather than in the wake of new owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett taking over two months ago, says the Daily Mail. -

Fowler targets final hurrah
Robbie Fowler is hopeful of having one final chance to shine in Liverpool colours.
The forward will end his association with the club when his contract expires in the summer, but his final appearance at Anfield did not go according to script.
Fowler endured a disappointing day in front of goal and was substituted with minutes remaining to allow the Anfield faithful to hail their departing hero.
The move backfired, though, as Liverpool were awarded a penalty shortly after which was converted by Harry Kewell.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez has admitted he was wrong to remove Fowler, but the striker is hoping for one last hurrah in the UEFA Champions League final.
"I hope the Charlton game may not be my last game for the club," said Fowler. "Like everyone here, I want to be involved in the Champions League final.
"We all want to claim a shirt, I am no different so I hope this will not be the end and I can contribute something in Athens."
Fowler felt being substituted minutes before the penalty award summed up his season.
He added: "Being substituted a minute before we got a penalty was just typical of the way things have gone for me this season, but it has been a good day.
"I would have liked to have got a goal, but the most important thing is that we did not lose, with it being my last game at Anfield.
"But it was one of those things, nobody could have known we would have won a penalty so soon after me going off.
"I've had a very good career here at Liverpool, it was an emotional time as I walked around the pitch at the end and I cannot thank [enough] the people here at Liverpool who gave me the chance to come back.
"It gave me the chance to say goodbye properly, and I didn't get to do that at the end of my first spell here."
Benitez added: "I was just too quick. If I had waited a minute more, Robbie could have scored from the spot in front of the Kop, that would have been a perfect way to end for him.
"I had wanted to give him the chance of a personal ovation, but it was just one of those things in the end. It was just bad luck for him, but at least I made sure he got the ovation he deserved." -
Maldini ready for final fling
Milan captain Paolo Maldini has declared himself fit for the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool.
Maldini made his first appearance in four games in the 1-1 draw with Catania on Sunday.
The former Italy international had been struggling with a knee problem, but after coming through 65 minutes unscathed against Catania he says he is ready to tackle Liverpool in Athens in nine days' time.
"I feel good and the knee didn't give me troubles," Maldini told the Italian press.
"The one with Catania has been a good test because the ground was hard. I have not had troubles.
"I'm optimistic and I think in Athens I will play. I'm really keen on that match."
Maldini was replaced by Kakha Kaladze on Sunday, but Maldini insists the substitution was decided before the match as Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti did not want to take any risks.
"It has been an already defined replacement. I could play until the end but it wasn't the time to risk," concluded Maldini. -

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has turned up the heat ahead of next week's Champions League final by branding Liverpool the worst English team in the competition.
Ancelotti said: "On a technical level, they are the worst of the three English teams to reach this season's semi-finals.
"But that does not mean I would have chosen to be playing them in next week's final. I would have preferred Manchester United."
And he warned supporters not to expect a feast of flowing football in Athens.
Ancelotti is convinced his team will take revenge for Istanbul two years ago when Milan surrendered a 3-0 lead before losing to Rafa Benitez's men on penalties.
He explained: "One of the reasons is obviously because we all saw how the semi-final went for Milan, both at Old Trafford and in the San Siro.
"But I also believe it would have made a better final because United are a technical team who play good football and also let the opposition play.
"I don't believe the same thing will happen with Liverpool."
Ancelotti also taunted Liverpool by declaring that the Merseysiders have lost touch with their roots under Benitez.
