Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has belittled Chelsea's achievements this season following their Champions League exit at the hands of the Reds.
I like that "invested £500m it's fantastic season to win the League Cup " .
Blues boss Jose Mourinho was reported to have described Liverpool as a small club and a cup team before the game.
"I don't care what he says, I don't listen," Parry told Radio Five Live.
"I guess when you've invested £500m it's a fantastic season to win the League Cup. He's welcome to his opinions, we care about Liverpool."

Despite me being a Man Utd fan i think if Rafa spends wisely they can rise to be a major force in the league in the next 2 years -
Rick Parry's words were in reply to Mourinho's comments that belittled Liverpool as a club and it's history. So quite honestly, Mourinho asked for it. It's this thing about talking big that will come back at you sometimes. It's things like these that teach you to be responsible for the things you say. -
It's not your support of Chelsea that makes you attract all the flak (doesn't happen to most of the other Chelsea fans), it's comments like these that are really asking for trouble. Friendly rivalry is one thing, support for your club is somewhat related. What you are doing is beyond that. Although it's obvious you like to emulate Mourinho what you're doing now is exactly the same as what Mourinho did, belittling Liverpool as a club. And came back to slap him in the face.
