Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has revealed Real Madrid face competition for his signature.
The Pole comes off contract at Liverpool at the end of this month and confirmed last week he was in talks with Real about a Bosman move to Madrid.
However, Dudek wrote on jerzydudek.eu: "Recently, I have been talking to different clubs from Turkey, Greece and Spain about my transfer.
"There is also still a possibility of moving to Benfica. Their sports director has asked me several times to be patient. I believe such a club is worth waiting for.
"I have had many chances in my career to experience how great a club Benfica is."
Dudek also revealed: "I have two serious proposals from Spain. Additionally, I rejected a lucrative contract from Turkey's Trabzonspor." -
